The designers really didn't try to overdo it with a ton of bonus features and special symbols but they did include enough of them to keep players interested and engaged for extended periods of time. There were definitely things to occupy your time while you tried to obtain the progressive jackpot. The first thing I noticed about this slots machine were the betting options which was the one downfall I could find on this machine. There was only one pay line that players could bet on which was a problem, as far as the winning percentages were concerned, but it could have been a lot worse had there not been a wild symbol included. The betting range was very limited too which is going to make this machine unplayable to a lot of players. The minimum bet required to spin the reels was two dollars and the maximum bet allowed for any one spin was six dollars. The symbols were pretty well done on this machine. I liked the fact that they were all theme oriented and the designers included a lot. This really prevented things from getting boring and monotonous even though it did drag down the winning percentages.

The wild symbol offered on Treasure Trail Slots was a picture of an "x" as seen on a treasure map. This symbol appeared on every reel and could be used to substitute for any symbol in the game. I really liked this wild symbol on this machine because it was really needed in order to bring up the winning percentages that were drug down by the large volume of symbols used. My favorite part about this symbol though was the fact that whenever it was used as part of a winning combination the prize awarded was automatically doubled. This really gave players a reason to root for and to get excited about this symbol.

Treasure Trail Slots also offered a progressive jackpot. I really liked this feature on this slots machine because it gave players incentive to play this machine for extended periods of time. I also liked the fact that the designers didn't make it the sole feature on this machine as I think that it fails in this role. The progressive jackpot was available to be won only when a maximum bet of six dollars was made, which is the one thing I didn't like about it because that's a pretty expensive spin. The jackpot was won whenever three "x" symbols appeared on the pay line together. This jackpot really was worth playing for because it could really add up to a huge amount.

Overall, I thought this was a very solid slots machine that I really enjoyed playing. I loved the fact that the designers took care of all the little details necessary to ensure a smooth gaming experience and also provided features meant to keep players interested for extended periods of time. The designers decided not to include an auto play feature on this machine but I didn't think that was too big of a problem since there things that would keep you interest on you way to the jackpot.
