You can tell that the designers weren't trying to overdo anything on this machine as they decided not to included any type of bonus feature or special symbol. They just created a basic slot machine layout and concept and hoped that players would like it. This was effective in some places but not in others. The first thing I noticed about this machine were the symbols. I thought that the designers included to perfect number of symbols on this machine. There weren't so many that the winning percentages were drug down but there were enough to keep things from getting boring and monotonous which is something that many three reel machines suffer from. I also liked the fact that all the symbols were theme oriented which made the game more engaging. The graphics were only good in the sense that I never ran into any type of glitch in the game play or additional loading screens once the game was underway. The sounds were very generic and I didn't think they effected the game play in any significant way so I made use of the mute button rather quickly.

The betting options offered on Gold Rush Slots were nothing spectacular but they were good enough to ensure a solid gaming experience. There was only one pay line available for players to bet on but I didn't think this was such a bad thing since there weren't to many symbols included on this machine so the winning percentages weren't dragged down too far by this. The betting range was more than sufficient and players could spin the reels for as little as a dime or for as much as thirty dollars. This is sure to make the game accessible to most average players. I also liked the fact that players could bet up to three coins on any given spin. This only furthered the betting flexibility that was available.

Overall, I thought this was a solid slots machine but nothing more. The designers did a nice job of taking care of the little things that are necessary for an enjoyable playing experience. There just wasn't that extra something on this machine, though, that would have put it over the top and made it a great slots machine. I would recommend this machine to more inexperienced players who are looking to just get used to what its like to play an online slots machine.
