Coconut Grove Slots is an overly simple and annoyingly basic slots machine. I really didn't have any fun playing this slots machine as I thought it was overly simplified to the point that there was no chance for any excitement or fun to take place. The first thing I noticed about this slots machine were the symbols. Though there were a lot of different symbols included on this slots machine there was only one on which players could earn winnings from. This meant that throughout the entire game you could only look forward to obtaining one symbol. This led to a machine that got incredibly boring and monotonous after only a brief period of time and I got bored with it after only about two minutes. I did like the fact that all the other symbols were theme oriented it's just too bad that none of them counted. The visual graphics were pretty lame but I did appreciate the fact that I never ran into any type of glitch or additional loading screen once the game was underway. The sound effects were very generic and I didn't feel like they effected the game play in any significant manner.

The betting range was more than adequate for a machine this simple and players could spin the reels for as little as a dime or for as much as fifty dollars. There was only one pay line available for players to bet on but this wasn't too big of an issue considering there was only one symbol that players could win with. I did like the fact that you could bet up to five coins at a time which really increased the amount of betting flexibility available.

Overall, I thought this was a pretty lame slots machine. There just wasn't anything provided by the designers that got me excited about play this machine. I think that things went south when the decision was made to only offer one symbol that could award a prize. This meant that this slots was destined for doom. I really wouldn't recommend this slots machine to anyone as I think you money and time could be much better spent on other slot machines.
