The Atomic Age Slots

This is a fairly complex machine that really has a lot of different features going on, including two different bonus games. The first reason I liked this machine was because of the variety of betting options available to players. Players could spin the reel for as little as a penny or as much as 75 dollars. I don't know anyone who can afford to pay 75 dollars a spin but if you're lucky enough to be in that position this is the slot for you. I also liked the symbols on this machine. Though there were a lot of them, they designers did a nice job of making them fairly symbol and made sure all the symbols stood out form each other. This is something I really appreciated because I feel like being confused by the symbols can really slow down game play and bring down the excitement level. The graphics were incredibly smooth on this machine and I never experienced any glitches and only a brief loading screen when I clicked on the help button. I really wouldn't suggest hitting on the help button though because the directions there were very confusing and you're better off just playing the machine to get a feel for it. The sounds were just average on this machine for me and I really didn't feel like they added to the game play in any meaningful way.

The Atomic Age Slots Wild Symbol

The wild symbol in The Atomic Age Slots was the picture of a UFO. This symbol was available on every reel and could be used to substitute for any symbol in the game other than the scatter symbols. I thought this was an alright wild symbol because it did appear on every reel, increasing the chances for wins, but it didn't add any additional bonus when it was used and this could have made the game more engaging and exciting.

The Atomic Age Slots Bonus Game 1

The Atomic Age Slots Bonus Game One

The first bonus game offered in The Atomic Age Slots was called the Drive In Bonus Round. The bonus game as activated whenever three or more pink Cadillacs appeared anywhere on the screen together. When this happened players were taken to a different screen and told to choose between a man character and a woman character. Then you had choose your date for the night and the movie you would see. You were then given an award depending on how good your picks matched up together. I thought this was a pretty lame bonus game and the amount awarded seemed pretty arbitrary.

The Atomic Age Slot Bonus Game 2

The Atomic Age Slots Bonus Game Two

The second bonus game offered in The Atomic Age Slots was called the Cash Register Bonus Round. This bonus game was activated whenever three or more cash register symbols appeared anywhere on the screen together. When this happens players are taken to a different screen and told to choose four items of the shelves of a store. The object is to get as close to a buck fifty as possible. The closer to a dollar fifty you are the higher the prize is. This was pretty challenging because you had to think back to how things were priced way back when. I thought this was a pretty fun and exciting bonus game and it actually led to some bigger than expected prizes.

Overall, this is a pretty solid slots machine that really stood out because its one of the few machines I've ever played with two separate bonus games. The designers did a nice job of offering a lot of features why still making it a user-friendly machine. I would definitely recommend this machine to anyone who is really into bonus games.
