Reel Crime 1: Bank Heist Slots
This slots machine takes players back to the mobster days of the 50s and places you in the middle of a bank robbery. There are four different stages to this machine that are unlocked as players progress through the game. I thought this was an incredibly innovate idea and I really had a good time playing it. It really gives players an incentive to stick around and keep playing. I personally had to play until I had unlocked all the different stages. The graphics are amazing on this machine and the cut away scenes were really cool and helped develop the storyline nicely. There loading screen to start the slots machine was a little long but after that players can expect no prolonged waiting screens or glitches in the game. This really helped the game play run smoothly and kept the excitement flowing. The betting option son this machine were as good as they could possibly be. Players could spin the reel for as little as a dollar a spin or for as much as 75 dollars, which is much more than any normal player will ever dream of betting for a spin, including me. The symbols were very well done and helped to bring the theme alive while still remaining simple and easy to identify. The help screen was also excellent on this machine. The concept of this machine can be a little confusing at fist so the designers really needed a solid help screen and I think they did this nicely. The only complaint I really have with this machine is that they didn't really include a lot of special symbols or bonus features.
Reel Crime 1: Bank Heist Slots Bonus Game
The bonus game in Reel Crime 1: Bank Heist Slots was activated whenever three or more tommy gun symbols were obtained anywhere on the screen together. When this happened players were taken to a new scene in the game at the end of which the bonus game was activated. Basically, players are taken outside of the bank and told to shoot objects in the environment. You simply scroll over objects and shoot whichever ones turn red. For everything you shoot a prize is awarded. The game was ended in one of two ways. If you hit the alarm you are sent to the "On The Run" stage. If you get the key you will be sent to the "In The Bank" stage. Each of these stages unlock different parts of the scenes in the progression of scenes and players then resume game play as usual except that now they are trying to unlock a different screen. I thought this was a really fun bonus game for a few reason. First, it was a pretty bonus game to obtain. Secondly, I loved the fact that it could end two ways and take you to two completely different directions in the game. This really made the game fun and exciting and players really never knew what was going to come next. It also led to some fairly large prizes for me.
Overall, I thought that this was very original and exciting concept for a slots machine. The bonus games were really a lot of fun and even though the game really didn't offer a lot of different special features and special symbols the design alone kept things really exciting. I thought that was something really special that the designers did because they didn't rely on gimmicks or a ton of complex features to keep their machine interesting. They simply focused on game play and the excitement of their storyline. I would recommend this machine to anyone who loves the mobster genre or is looking for a slots machine that provides its excitement in a very unique way.
