As The Reels Turn 3 Slots is the third, and last to date, installment of the Rival Gaming As The Reels Turn trilogy. Don't let the opening scenes fool you; only Matt G., The Don, Jaime, and Danny are returning cast member sin this installment. I know, I was heart-broken as well that some of my favorite characters would not be participating as I had hoped. The first thing I noticed about this machine was that they really reined in the bonus features and special symbols. That seems to be the way things have progressed in this trilogy. The first installment had a ton of bonus games and special symbols. The second installment had fewer and the third one has yet even few. I guess they figure by the third installment players have been hooked onto the story and are more interested in the storyline than they are the actual game play. This assumption kind of disappointed me. The game does return the same solid betting options from the second version and players can bet a minimum of a penny a spin or as much as 37.50 a spin. The graphics were solid, as always, and the dialogue returned its much anticipated humor. There are also still 15 pay lines available to bet on for any given spin. I still really liked the symbols on this machine because I thought they were very clear and easily related back to the storyline. Players can expect to find a few new symbols that directly correlate with the new symbols being introduced.

The first scatter symbol offered on this slots machine was a picture of Ivan the fish. Basically, whenever three or more of these little guys appeared anywhere on the screen together, ten free games were automatically awarded. During these free games all prizes awarded were automatically tripled. This was one of a slew of great features but I really liked this one because the symbol was awesome, it was fairly easy to obtain, and by tripling the prizes you could really win a lot of money with this feature.

The wild symbol on As The Reels Turn 3 Slots is only activated during the free spins unlocked by the scatter symbols mentioned above. The wild symbol is a picture of pampers the cat/dog. During the free spins this symbol appears on every reel and can be used to substitute for any symbol in the game other than the scatter symbols. There are two more features that really make this a special symbol. The first is that whenever it apperas it automatically expands across the entire reel. The means players have a great chance of winning whenever this symbol appears. Also, when this symbol is used in a winning combination a prize multiplier is automatically awarded. If one wild symbol is ued the prize is automatically tripled and if two wild symbols are used the prize is automatically multiplied by four. This really puts almost all the emphasis of the machine on the free spins and things get really exciting whenever they are activated.

The only bonus game available on this machine was now offered through the next scene symbol. Basically, this symbol now had to important roles. The first role was to unlock the next scene in the progression of scenes offered on this machine. This happened whenever three or more of these symbols appeared anywhere on the screen together. At then end of the scene the Danny costumes bonus round was automatically activated. During this bonus game players must press a stop button to randomly select an outfit for Danny to wear. The better the outfit the higher the prize. I thought this was a very original bonus game and you could make this guys wear some absolutely ridiculous outfits.

Overall, I thought that this was a pretty solid slots machine. It didn't offer all the bells and whistles available on the first two versions but it may have been a more complete game. I really won a lot of money during my free spins and I thought the bonus game was pretty solid and that also offered some fairly large prizes. I would recommend this machine to anyone who liked the fist two machines or is looking for the excitement of some exciting free spins.
