Super Diamond Mine Slots is probably my favorite installment of the Diamond Mine trilogy. It is a very solid slot machine that offers a unique spin on the diamond movement feature. The first thing I noticed about this machine were the symbols. I thought they were very well done and the inclusion of the bar symbols prevented things from getting to confusing or cumbersome. They were also very true to the Diamond Mine theme. The graphics weren't as well done on this machine as there were on the other Diamond Mind Slots. This was evident whenever one chose to change the betting amount and had to wait for a loading screen. The sounds were also below par and did not add to the game play in any meaningful way. One of the things I really liked about this machine, though, was the great variety of betting amounts that a player could make. Players could play this machine anywhere from as little as a dollar to as much as 225 dollars. This aspect made this a slot that should be attractive to players of all bank roll sizes. You could also bet on up to nine different pay lines which really improved player's chances of winning on any given spin.

The bonus game was done in what I thought was a very unique way. Basically, whenever a diamond appears on the screen it is either pointing up or down. If it is facing down and is at the top of the reel then it will fall two spaces and three points will be added to the clicker in the top right corner. If it is pointing down and is at the bottom of the reel then only one point will be added to the clicker. This works in the same why, but in the opposite direction, for diamonds facing up. The bonus game is activated at the point and time in which the clicker reaches 99 points. When this happens players are taken to a different screen and told to choose among a variety of mines. If you successfully navigate the mine then a multiple of your original bet is awarded. The game carries on in this manner until you choose a mine that collapses on you. At this point the bonus game is over and you are awarded you winnings. I thought this was a very fun bonus game and instead of just relying on luck you could anticipate when the bonus game was going to come which is a feature that I really enjoyed.

Overall, this is a very solid slots machine. The wide betting range, I believe, is really going to make this an attractive slot to a lot of different people. I also loved the way that you could actually tell when the bonus game was going to come. I wish more slots would adopt this kind of theory. I would really recommend this slots machine to anyone because there really aren't any glaring weaknesses that are going to leave you with a bad taste in your mouth, as far as game play is concerned at least.
