This is a very simple and strait-forward three reel slot machine. I'm guessing the designers at RTG were just aiming to make a classic slots machine that just offered solid slot action without any gimmicks or special features. It is a very patriotically themed machine as well, hence the name. The first thing I noticed that I really liked about this machine was the fact that it could be played so cheaply. Players could choose to spin the reels for as little as five cents a spin. I wouldn't suggest doing this though because the only way to have a chance at the progressive jackpot is to bet the maximum of fifteen cents, which is still a very affordable price. This is one of those "I'm broke but still have to scratch my slot machine addiction itch" and it does a very nice job in this respect. One of the things I didn't like so much was the fact that almost all the symbols were sevens and the remaining were just bar symbols. I kind of like a lot of different symbols on my machines because I feel it keeps the game exciting and prevents it from getting stale and repetitive.

I thought that the progressive jackpot offered in Seven And Stripes Slots was a very nice feature. It was won whenever ever each of the different colored sevens appeared on the pay line at once when a three credit bet was made. The only problem I had with this feature is that it took a really long time to build up and for a majority of time if you won it you would have been better of having won it while betting only two credits. So in essences it's possible to win less by betting more which really just doesn't make sense.

Overall, this is a solid slot machine that is great for people looking for a bargain machine and a break from all the bonus features usually offered on most slots. This isn't my favorite classic slots machine but it definitely serves its purpose.
