Light Speed Slots is probably one of the most fun three reel, one line slot machines that I've ever played. This is due in large part to the very original and innovate bonus feature that they brought to the table. They also managed to include many of my other favorite features that I feel really make a machine exciting. The game takes on the them of deep space exploration and the symbols conveyed this nicely. They were all very different form one and another and I never got them confused, which makes the game play much smoother. It also offered what I thought was a great bargain. The maximum bet was 75 cents per spin but players could play at just a quarter a spin if they chose. This made it really affordable while still being able to provide the opportunity for some pretty sizeable wins.

Some of the sound effects were actually kind of decent but the sound that was made at the initiation of each spin led me to the mute button. It just got way to repetitive and I felt like I might be going insane. There also weren't a lot of winning lines in this game either but the designers helped alleviate this problem by including a much needed bonus symbol.

The first bonus feature, which I really enjoyed, made use of the light speed symbol. Every time this symbol appeared on the paying line a bar was added to the meter on both sides of the machine. Whenever this meter contained some credits when a prize was won, that prize was multiplied by the number of credits available. This meant that players could win up to seven times the original award if the prize was filled all the way. This really added a great bonus to winning combinations. This meter was also involved in awarding the progressive jackpot. In order to win this prize a player had to receive three ray guns on the pay line while having a full light speed meter. Though this was a really hard jackpot to win, the jackpot had a tendency of being ridiculously large which made the game really exciting every time you meter filled up. There was also a wild symbol included in this game. This symbol, which was a picture of a robot, could be used to replace any symbol in the game other than the light speed symbol. This only helped to further a players chance to win on any given spin.

Overall, this is a very fun and original three reel slots machine. I have played it many times and it is now a staple in my slot rounds.
