High Roller Slots didn't take the theme when I initially envisioned high rollers and gambling. It's actually inspired by our hippy friends and I guess the name works, for obvious reasons, in this respect as well. The first thing I noticed about this machine was the fact that it offered the ability to bet on five different winning lines. This really gives players an excellent chance at winning on every spin. It also really spiced up a pretty basic three reel design. I also liked the symbols in this game because they were very true to the hippy theme they were aiming for.

This machine also gave the ability to play five different lines at a bargain price. Each line cost one credit and each credit was worth five cents. This meant that players could play this game for hours at a time for next to nothing. The sounds just killed me on this slot though and every once in a while a little ladybug would dance across the screen while at the same time producing a very high pitched and annoying sound.

Higher Roller Slots Bonus Features

This machine added two bonus features that really worked to enhance the playing experience. The first was the use of a wild symbol. The wild symbol was the picture of, appropriately, a peace sign. This picture could be used to replace any symbol in the game. This made the wild symbol something really worth rooting for and gave players a great opportunity to win on any given spin. The other feature offered in this game was a progressive jackpot. This feature was awarded whenever three WV bugs appeared one a winning line when five lines were bet on. I thought that this was a cool feature but the designers failed to place a jackpot ticker on the screen so you really weren't aware of what you were playing for.

Overall, this a pretty average slot machine. I liked the fact that you could play on five betting lines at a time but the other features just weren't done well enough to make this a slot that I'd keep coming back to it. It was nice for a cheap play as well but you basically had to play the five lines every time if you wanted a chance to obtain the bonus features. I wouldn't really recommend this machine to anyone as you could probably find another cheap slot that offers better rounded features.
