Golden Glove Slots is probably one of the most complicated slots I've ever played. You really can't understand the game by just reading the directions; you have to play it to understand all the different bonus features. This is something I really didn't like. I'm all for adding a lot of features to a slots machine, but not so many that the game because cumbersome and confusing. Things even got even more confusing considering their choice of symbols. They were a lot of them and it took me a really long time to remember which ones were worth a lot and which ones were not. They included, among others, a catcher, a hot dog, and a baseball beauty.

The graphics were pretty well done though and I never experienced any glitches or had to wait for any loading screens. The sound effects were decent but I didn't really feel like they added to the playing experience and I was forced to use to the mute button after a few minutes of playing. One of the things I did like about this slot was the way the designers did the progressive jackpot. Usually I like my slots machines to have a symbols designated to award the wild symbol but I was glad that they didn't do attempt this on this slot because there was already so much else going on.

The wild symbol on Golden Glove Slots is the picture of a baseball player taking a swing of the bat. This symbol only appears on reel three and can be used to substitute for any other symbol in the game including the scatter symbol. During the free games the wild symbol can also be used to substitute the "I" symbol. I really didn't the way the RTG designers made this wild symbol. By having it on only one reel and not offering a prize multiplier I thought that this symbol kind of took a backseat in this game.

A picture of a gold glove serves as the scatter symbol in Golden Glove Slots. Whenever two or more of these symbols appear anywhere on the screen at the same time a prize is automatically awarded. Whenever three or more of theses symbols appear in a row, either left to right or right to left, the bonus feature is triggered. The bonus feature awards nine free games. During the free games the letters H, I, and T are added to reels two, three, and four respectively. For every scattered "HIT" that is acquired a bonus hit is granted. Every run scored doubles the prize awarded on that spin, along with the double awarded to every prize already, and adds an extra spin during the grand slam round. The grand slam spins take place after the nine free spins and during these spins all prizes awarded are multiplied by five. Every run scored during the grand slam round triggers a prize that multiplies the initial bet anywhere from two to a 100 times. If you're thinking that this all sounds really, really confusing, that's because it is. It took me a really long time to understand this bonus feature and you really have to play it to fully understand.

Overall, this slot is just way to complex. I like bonus features and awards just as much as the next person, but they need to be done with a proper balance of simplicity which this game fell well short of. I would really on recommend this game for the most experienced slots machine player, and it even may be to complex for some of you.
