It is one of the more complex slots out there; offering a variety of different ways to multiply your winnings. Complex does not equate to confusing though. I felt that the game ran very smoothly and the symbols were very easy to identify. The symbols consist of regular playing card symbols, from nine to ace, and an assortment of musically oriented monkey symbols. Personally, I like a lot of symbols in my slots and Funky Monkey does not disappoint in this department.

This is a musically themed slot, so I expected to hear some quality sound effects. I thought that this is were the slot was lacking. Overall, the sounds get pretty repetitive and do not add to the playing experience. This did not prove to be too big of a problem though, as there was an easily accessible mute button. The graphics were pretty well done and I did enjoy the guitar playing monkeys. Visually there are a lot of things going on, which I felt kept things interesting.
