Fruit Frenzy Slots is a, well, a pretty fruity slots machine. It's also a very complex slots machine. The complexity of this slot is made even more so by RTG's selection of symbols. There are many, many symbols in this game and it took me a great deal of time before I knew could decipher which ones were the big winners and which ones I should probably pay less attention to. They included, among others, an orange, a banana, and balloons. How balloons relate to fruit I'm still trying to figure out. The one thing I absolutely did love about this slot though were the amount of lines that players could bet on, on any given spin. Twenty-five winning lines give players a really great chance on winning on any given spin. This is something that is rather uncommon for RTG designers who seem to prefer the standard twenty line slots.

The graphics were well done on this slot, as they always are on RTG slots. I didn't encounter any glitches and didn't come across one loading screen once the game got started. Fruit Frenzy Slots also offered a progressive slot that was handed out randomly at the end of a spin. I'm glad they did it this way, rather than allocating a symbol to the progressive jackpot, because there is already so much going on with this slot. The sound effects didn't really amaze me and, as usual, I hit the mute button after a few spins.

Fruit Frenzy Slots Wild Symbol

The wild symbol in Fruit Frenzy Slots is the picture of a pretty mischievous looking pineapple.  This symbol appears on every reel and can be used to substitute for any other symbol in the game other than the "fruit" and "frenzy" symbols.  I liked the fact that the wild symbol appeared on every reel but I thought that they could have added a prize multiplier it whenever it was used in a winning line.  This makes the game more exciting and gets you rooting for the wild symbol.  To me, rooting for symbols is what slots machines are all about.

Fruit Frenzy Slots Scatter Symbol

There are two different scatter symbols in Fruit Frenzy Slots.  They are pictures of the words "fruit" and "frenzy" and they appear on all the reels.  Basically whenever two or more of these symbols appear anywhere on the screen at the same time a prize is automatically awarded.  This is a little different than most slots that offer only one scatter symbol and I liked it because it gave me a better chance of winning on any spin.

Fruit Frenzy Slots Bonus Game

The bonus game in Fruit Frenzy Slots is initiated anytime five of the same symbols appear on a winning line at once. This is easier said than done, but the availability of 25 betting lines doesn't make this a completely impossible feat. When this happens players are taken to a different screen and are given three chances to shoot a daredevil strawberry though a rockmelon target. For every successful shot a free game is awarded. During the free games all prizes are doubled and all scatter wins are tripled. This is a pretty fun bonus game but I was kind of disappointed that you couldn't win more. Three bonus games at a time really isn't all that great compared to some of the bonuses offered by other slot machines. One cool thing about it though is that no matter how many lines you used to initiate the bonus feature, during the free games you automatically play at 25 lines, which gives you a great chance of winning during you free spins.

Overall, this is a pretty fun slot though it is very complicated. I liked the bonus game a lot but I really wish you could have won better prizes with it. There is a lot going and I really had to play for a good while before I started to get bored with this machine. I would recommend this slot only to more experienced players due to the complexity of the symbols and the amount of different bonus games and features.
