Bonkers slots is a pretty well done three reel, classically designed slots machine. The first thing I noticed though is the fact that all the symbols were pretty much the same. They included various bar symbols, sevens, and a bonkers symbol. For some reason I really just can't stand seeing the same symbols run across the screen time after time. To me it only leads to me getting very bored, very quickly. The designers did help to try and overcome this though by adding some bonus features. I did appreciate they did the sounds as well. They were very true to the familiar real life casino slot machines and were the next best thing next to actually going to the casino. This is also a slots machine that can be played for a long time with relatively little money. Players could spin the reel for as little as five cents a spin and only as much as fifteen cents. These kinds of slots are great when your bank roll is running a little low but you still need to get that gambling fix in.

The most noticeable bonus feature is the addition of a "bonkers" symbol that is used to award prizes and free games when two or more of them appear on the pay line. When two of them appear on the pay line three re-spins are awarded and if three of them appear on the pay line then ten free spins are awarded. This was a really cool symbol and made the game exciting. Plus, who doesn't love free games? The RTG designers were at again on this one too and they made the claim that there may, or may not be, a progressive jackpot on this machine. I'm going to assume that there wasn't one on my machine because there wasn't a ticker above the reels. If you were one of the people on the lucky side of maybe, then you could win the progressive jackpot by betting three credits and obtaining three sevens on the pay line.

Overall, I thought this was a pretty well done, classically designed slots machine. It was very affordable and the addition of a free game feature really helped to add excitement to what would have been a very basic design had it not been included. I would suggest this to anyone who is on a budget and looking for the chance to win some free games.
