The first thing I noticed about this slots machine is the multitude of different symbols. I'm not too high on leaving the traditional playing card symbols behind because though they do get kind of played out, they do bring a certain simplicity to the game play. Fortunately, Aladdin's Wishes Slots didn't get too fancy with the rest of their features and did a nice job of not overwhelming the players. They did this while still including a bonus game. The graphics were also very well done on this slot machine and didn't include any loading screens, after the initial one, or any kind of game glitches. Some of the designs of the symbols were very original as well which added to the appeal of the visual design. Players were also given great flexibility as to how much money they wanted to play with because the designers at RTG included the ability to bet on twenty different lines at up to five dollars a line. I liked this because I felt I had a great chance of winning on every single spin.

The sounds effects were cool, the first time you hear them. After that they because just strait up annoying and I had to use the mute button to continue playing. One thing I did like about this slot was the way they decided to do the progressive jackpot. On most slots machines I prefer that an additional symbol be added to award it rather than just handing it out randomly at the end of spins. I thought the designers at RTG were wise not to do this on this slots machine because there were already so many symbols and adding another one would have only added to the confusion.

This symbol only appears on reels two, three, and four and can be used to substitute for any other symbol besides the scatter symbol. Whenever this symbol is used in a winning line the prize is automatically doubled. I liked this wild symbol, even though I would have preferred it on ever reel, because it really gives players a great chance to make some real money. Another thing I didn't really like though is that it was slightly hard to identify on the reels due to the large number of other symbols.

Essentially, whenever two or more of theses symbols appear anywhere on the screen at the same time a prize is awarded. The real weight of this symbol is displayed in its ability to award the bonus game. I thought that this was a pretty cool scatter symbol but it had the same problem that the wild symbol had in that it was somewhat hard to identify on the screen with all the other symbols.

The bonus game in Aladdin's Wishes Slots is pretty strait forward and simple. It is initiated whenever three or more scatter symbols appear in a row left to right. This makes the scatter symbol pretty hard to obtain and I really didn't think the rewards it offered warranted this. When the bonus game is initiated players are taken to a different screen and told to pick out of five lamps. The number of picks that you get is determined by how many scatter symbols you used to initiate it. In one of the lamps is a magic lamp that awards 25 free games. The other lamps award anywhere from two to 100 times the triggering bet. Though it was very simple and somewhat hard to obtain, I did enjoy playing this bonus game because it offered some pretty great prizes.

Overall, this is a pretty sold slots machine. I thought that the designers did a nice job of keeping everything else simple because of the many symbols they used. The bonus game was also pretty fun and exciting. I would recommend this to more advanced players that have a keen eye for picking out symbols. The ability to do this will make game more exciting for the player.
