Achilles Slots is a very well developed five reel slot that gives you the opportunity to play up to twenty lines on any one spin. The entire slot is oriented around the theme of Troy and Achilles. I liked this slot a lot because everything was very simple and I never got confused. The symbols ranged from regular playing card symbols, nine through ace, to an assortment of Troy influenced symbols such a shield, Helen, and a wooden horse.

The sounds were nothing too special in this game, but I've given up on being excited by online slots sound effects. The graphics were very smooth and the game I never experienced and glitches or hold ups. The one thing I wasn't too thrilled about as how hard it was to get a bonus game. I had to play for over a half an hour before I got either of the bonus Achilles Slots offers.

Achilles Slots Wild Symbol

The wild symbol on this slot is a picture of Achilles wielding a sword. It replaces any other symbol on the slot machine other than the scatter symbol. I like this wild symbol because along with replacing other symbols, it also has the ability to trigger a bonus game when three or more appear on the screen at one time. I felt that the wild symbols didn't occur as often in this game as they do in others though.

Achilles Slots Scatter Symbol

In Achilles Slots the scatter symbol is a picture of the city of Troy. This was more of a bonus game trigger than a scatter symbol I felt. Whenever three or more appear on the screen at once, which is the minimum needed to win anything with the scatter symbol, ten free games are awarded. I didn't really like this strategy because I enjoy being rewarded any time a scatter symbol appears on the screen rather than having to have three.

Achilles Slots Bonus Game

The bonus game can be triggered by obtaining three Achilles symbols anywhere on the screen. This is much harder than it sounds. When this does eventually happen you simply click on one of the picture of Achilles to be awarded 15, 20, or 25 free games. During the free games earned by the Achilles picture all winnings are tripled. You can also win free games through the use of the scatter symbol. If you get three or more of the pictures of try anywhere on the screen you are awarded ten free games during which you winning will be doubled. Though this was a pretty hard bonus to achieve, when I did get it I ended up with some very big winnings.
Overall I thought this slot was ok, probably because I lack patience. The setup was fine and everything worked well but I guess I just like to get bonuses and special features more often when I'm playing. They slot did try to make up for this by making the bonuses and special features worth more. So if you not like me and like waiting for the big payoff, this is your slot.
