Golden Eagle Slots is an incredibly simple and strait forward three reel slots machine. There really wasn't anything new or innovative as far as features, in fact there was only one feature period, but I thought it was executed pretty well for what it was designed to be. The first thing I noticed about this slots machine were the symbols. I was kind of on the fence with the symbol on this machine. I liked the fact that there were a lot of them being offered, as I thought it prevented things from getting boring and monotonous too quickly, but at the same time with there being a lot of symbols and only one pay line I thought it drug the winning percentages down a bit too much. This led to less excitement and slightly less engaging game. The betting options were pretty good on this machine but nothing special. The betting range was pretty small and it was definitely a machine designer mostly for bargain players. The reels could be spun for as little as a penny or for as much as ten dollars. As noted earlier there was only one pay line available for players to bet on and I really thought that the machine would have greatly benefited from the addition of more due to the high number of symbols being used.

The wild symbol offered on Golden Eagle Slots was a picture of, you guessed it, an eagle. This symbol only appeared on reel two and could be used to substitute for any symbol in the game. I really wish that this symbol would have been made available on every reel as the game could have used it due to the sub par winning percentages. The designers did try to make this symbol have a bigger impact on the game though by also making it a prize multiplier. Every time this symbol was used as part of a winning combination the prize awarded was automatically doubled. I thought this a very effective addition to this symbol and it really helped it bring a lot more excitement to the overall gaming experience.

Overall, I thought this was a solid slots machine for what I was designed to be. Though I really don't like machines this simple I think it's a good thing to step back every once in a while from the feature laden bonus feature slots and just got back to your slotting roots every now and then. I also think this is a great slots machine for players who are just trying to get their feet wet with the whole online slots machine process.
