My main complaint with this machine was that it lacked an element of originality that was really needed if it was going to of stood out. All the features offered on this machine will be very familiar to most experienced players. The first thing I noticed about this machine were the symbols. I thought they were really effective in bringing the theme to life which made the game very engaging and exciting. I also never ran into any problems confusing the symbols with one another. This jackpot was awarded randomly after any paid spin and the more money you bet the better your chances of winning. It was also much smaller than most progressive jackpots but this only meant that it would be awarded more often which is a good thing. The betting options were nothing special on this machine but they were good enough to make it accessible to a pretty wide range of players. The betting range was pretty large as players could spin the reels for as little as a penny or for as much as ninety dollars. I was kind of disappointed that there only nine pay lines available for players to bet on because it left the winning percentages a little below where I thought they should be.

This symbol appeared on every reel and could be used to substitute for any symbol in the game other than the scatter symbol. I liked the fact that this symbol appeared on every reel because it really helped bring the overall winning percentages which were in bad shape due to there only be nine pay lines available. I would have really liked to have seen an additional feature added to this symbol though because I felt like it just didn't stand out enough by itself.

This symbol appeared on every reel and was used to award a prize whenever two or more appeared anywhere on the screen together at the same time. This symbol was also used to activate the bonus game offered on this slots. The bonus game was activated whenever three or more scatter symbols appeared on the screen together. Whenever this happened players were taken to a different screen where they had to choose five of the nine ships to reveal symbols. The object was to match three of a kind to win a randomly awarded prize of up to a thousand times the triggering bet. I liked this bonus feature only because it was relatively easy to obtain which gave it a pretty big impact on the overall gaming experience and was responsible for a lot of the excitement.

Overall, I thought this was a solid slots machine but nothing special. I did enjoy playing this machine for a brief period of time but after a short while the very bland features just got repetitive and boring. I was looking for originality and I definitely didn't find it here. I also wish they would have added a few more pay lines and maybe and additional feature to the wild symbol.
