The Osbournes Slots - Online Slot Machine Review

The Osbournes Slots
I thought that the Osbournes Slots sported quite possibly one of the coolest themes ever seen on a slots machine. There were a lot of bonus symbols and special features on this machine that really served to make the game play pretty exciting. The first thing I noticed, and that I was looking forward to, was the music. I was not disappointed. The music was very solid and the background noise sported non-stop Ozzy. If you are an Ozzy or Black Sabbath fan then this is the machine for you. The symbols were also very well done on this machine. They included the photos of everyone in the family along with a ton of musically oriented symbols. They really brought the theme to life and I assume that is what the designers were attempting to do with this machine. Another thing I really liked about this machine was the fact that it offered twenty different pay lines for players to bet on. This really meant that players had a great chance on winning a prize on every spin they made. The betting rang was also well above average. Players could spin the reels for as little as penny or for as much as 100 dollars. This is as good a betting range that players can expect to ever see.
The Osbournes Slots Wild Symbol
The designers kept the wild symbol pretty simple on The Osbournes Slots. They called the wild symbol The Osbournes symbol and it is basically a shield that states the title of the machine on it. This symbol appeared on every reel and could be used to substitute for any symbol in the game other than the two scatter symbols. I usually prefer that more be done with my wild symbols but there was enough other things going on with this machine that it really didn't detract from the game play too much. One complaint I did have though is that it was a little hard to identify quickly amongst all the other symbols.
The Osbournes Slots Scatter Symbols
The Osbournes Slots sported two different and distinct wild symbols. The first wild symbol was the knocker symbol. This symbol appeared on every reel and awarded a prize whenever three or more appeared anywhere on the screen together. It also had an additional feature that was activated whenever this symbol appeared on the first three reels. When this happened players clicked on all of these symbols and a random prize multiplier was awarded for each one. This was a decent scatter symbol but I thought that its bonus feature was just way to hard to obtain to really have a large impact on the game. The second bonus symbol offered was the Mini dog symbol. This symbol awarded a prize whenever two or more of them appeared anywhere on the screen together and awarded ten free spins whenever three or more appeared. During the free spins a point was added for every mini symbol that appeared on the middle three reels. If you obtained five of these points during the free games a bonus prize was awarded and your free spins were reset to ten. This was a pretty cool bonus feature and I preferred it offer the first scatter symbol. It wasn't all that hard to obtain and if you got on a lucky streak you could end up with a lot of free spins and big prizes.
The Osbournes Slots Bonus Game
The Osbournes awarded a bonus game in the worse way, in my opinion, a slots machine can awarded anything, randomly. At random intervals the Grab A Gift Bonus Game was activated. During this bonus game there were four presents on the screen that flashed randomly and players had to press the stop button for the gift they wanted. The gifts contained different prize multipliers depending on which one it is. For instance, Ozzy's gift contained a prize multiplier anywhere from x2 to x30, and other family member gifts had different ranges. I thought this was an o.k. bonus game but I really didn't like the fact that it was just arbitrarily awarded at random. This really made players feel like they weren't involved in the process.
Overall, this was a pretty fun machine that offered a ton of special features. Some of the features were good but some of them fell a little short o success. I did really like the theme though and for some that will be reason enough to play. I also liked the fact that some of their features were rather original. I would recommend this machine to anyone who is really into Ozzy or is looking for some new and unique features.
