Skull Duggery Slots is a pretty advanced five reel slots machine. I really liked the fact that the designers included a lot of different bonus features and special symbols while still keeping the game play user friendly and pretty simple. The first thing I noticed about this game was the symbols. I thought the designers added just the right amount of symbols. There were enough to keep things from getting to repetitive and monotonous quickly while not to many as to overwhelm the players. The betting options offered on this machine were solid but nothing amazing. There were nine different pay lines that players could bet on before any given spin. This did serve to increase the overall winning percentages but I really thought it could have benefited from more. The reels could be spun on this machine for as little as a penny or for as much as 45 dollars. I really liked the fact that the minimum bet required was only a penny as this is the value I am usually forced to play with. The visual graphics were pretty well done on this machine and there's a pretty entertaining opening skit that is provided along with a very visually pleasing bonus game. The graphics were also good in the sense that I never ran into any type of glitch in the game play or additional loading screen.

The wild symbol on Skull Duggery Slots was a picture of an icon that said "skull duggery". This symbol appeared on every reel and could be used to substitute for all fruit symbols in the game. The best part about this symbol was that whenever it was used as part of a winning combination he prize was automatically tripled. I really liked this wild symbol. Though I would have liked it to have applied to all symbols I thought that the addition of a prize multiplier more than made up for this fact.

A picture of a stylish skull served as the scatter symbol for Skull Duggery Slots. This symbol appeared on every reel and was used to award a prize whenever two or more appeared anywhere on the screen together at the same time. I thought this was just too simple of a scatter symbol for my likings and while playing it felt just like all the other normal symbols. Luckily, there were other features offered on the machine to provide excitement.

Skull Duggery Slots Bonus Game

The bonus game was activated by a special symbol of a skeleton carrying a treasure chest on its back. This symbol appeared on every reel and whenever three of the bonus symbols appeared on a pay line from left to right the bonus game was activated. When this happened players were taken to a different screen where you had to pick a shipmate to be sacrificed by walking off the plank. A prize was then randomly awarded. I wasn't too crazy about this bonus game because it was incredibly hard to obtain and I thought the prize awarded was completely arbitrary in relation to the shipmate you picked.

Overall, I thought this was a solid slots machine but nothing special. The designers simply fell a little short with some of the feature being offered and they didn't offer the level of excitement they could have. I would only suggest this machine to players who have a lot of patience and are willing to wait long periods of time between bonus games.
