The designers kept things very simple on Rock The Boat Slots. This slots machine really had a throw back, classic feel and design. There wasn't any attempt to wow players with new and innovative bonus features or special symbols. I still thought that the game did provide for some solid game play but only for a short while. In my opinion, this game could have really benefited from the addition of more symbols. There were only four different types of symbols used on this machine and I thought this led to a game that got rather boring and monotonous a little too quickly. The betting options were as basic as everything else offered on this machine. There was only one pay line offered for players to bet on but I didn't think this was to big of a problem as the low number of symbols used still ensured a rather high winning percentage. The betting range was kept relatively small and the minimum bet required to spin the reels was a quarter while the maximum bet allowed was ten dollars. This wasn't a very good betting range and I think that it really limited who would play this machine. The graphics were decent in the respect that they assured that I never ran into any type of glitch or prolonged loading screen. The sounds were kept very generic on this machine and I didn't think they added to the overall gaming experience in any significant way.

I really thought the designers included a very effective wild symbol on this slots machine. The wild symbol on Rock The Boat Slots was a picture of an Elvis Presley impersonator singing into a microphone. This symbol appeared on every reel and could be used to substitute for any symbol in the game. My favorite part about this symbol is that it also served as a prize multiplier. If one of the wild symbols were used as part of a winning combination then the prize was automatically doubled and if two were used the prize was automatically quadrupled. This really provided a reason for players to get excited about this symbol and to really root for it.

Overall, I thought this was a decent slot machine but I felt it fell short in a few areas. I really liked the wild symbol on this machine and while I was playing this was the main source of excitement. Unfortunately I thought that this game got a little boring after only a short while of playing. If you looking for a very simple and easy to understand slots machine though, this may be the slot machine for you.
