Oriental Fortunes Slots

Oriental Fortunes Slots is and incredibly simple five reel slots machine. I thought it was a little too simple for my likings. The designers just didn't offer any reason for me to get excited about this machine or to come back to it for multiple plays. The first thing I noticed about this machine were the symbols. I thought these were actually pretty well done and I never had any trouble confusing the different symbols. This is a really important feature of a slots machine because it really helps the game run smoother and removes any slow downs associated with confusion. The symbols included regular playing card symbols, nine through ace, and a variety of Asian inspired symbols that included, among others, a koy fish, a dragon, and a golden statue. I thought the betting options were really below par on this machine. Players only had five different pay options available to bet on during any given spin. On a five reels slots machine this really doesn't increase players chances of winning the way it should. The betting range was decent but even this was severely hampered by the lack of available betting lines. The sounds were used in a way that really helped serve the theme but I thought they got a little annoying and repetitive after only a short period of time. The graphics were decent on this machine when considering I didn't experience any glitches or have to wait for any type of prolonged waiting screens.

Oriental Fortunes Slots Wild Symbol

The one feature that this game included was a wild symbol. I thought that for being the only feature this symbol did not do all that it should have. The wild symbol for Oriental Fortunes Slots was a picture of a traditional Chinese geisha. This symbol appeared on every reel and could be used to substitute for any symbol in the game. I liked the fact that this symbol appeared on every reel but I really would have liked it if it included some other type of feature along with it such as a prize multiplier. This would have given players something to root about and since this was the only bonus feature it was important that players rooted for this symbol. The wild symbol was just too simple to get this job done.

Overall, I thought this machine was just too simple. I think it would have been alright if they would have executed the one feature they did offer very well but they failed to do this. This, along with the subpar betting options, is why I can not recommend this slots machine. I think there are much more complete slot machines that players could spend their time and money on.
