The first thing I noticed about this machine were the symbols. There really wasn't anything all that special about them but I appreciated the fact that they I never really got any of them confused with each other and that the bonus features were very easy to identify. The betting options were fantastic on this machine. Players had the ability to bet on up to twenty different pay lines on any given spin and this really improved the chances of winning on every spin. The betting range was also well done and players could spin the reel for as little as a penny or for as much as 200 dollars. You would be hard pressed to find anybody in which this betting range didn't get the job done. The sounds were a little below average and I didn't feel like the casino background noise really served to bring the overall theme to life. They should have made the background noise something like the breeze or the sound of the woods.

I really liked the fact that this wild symbol also served as a prize multiplier but I could understand why they didn't include the symbol on every reel. This would have given the symbol much more impact on the game and increased the overall excitement level.

I really liked the scatter symbol offered by Nutty Squirrel Slots. The icon itself was a picture of an icon and was very easy to identify. Basically, this symbol appeared on every reel and awarded a prize whenever two or more appeared anywhere on the screen together. The real fun started though whenever three or more of these symbols appeared together. When this happened fifteen free spins were automatically awarded during which all prizes obtained were automatically doubled. This made the scatter symbol the most important symbol in the game and I really found myself rooting for it after playing for only a few short minutes.

Overall, I thought this was a solid slots machine. There really wasn't anything offered that blew me away but I appreciated the fact that the game play was kept simple and that the features offered were executed very well.
