So I was a little confused by the theme that the designers were trying to obtain with this slots machine. Apparently munchkins are tiny little creatures that go around taking bites out of anything and everything. This is what I gathered form the various symbols the designers decided to include in this game. The symbols were actually quite well done on this machine and I never had any problems mixing the different symbols up or identifying the important ones. The symbols included regular playing card symbols, nine through ace, and an assortment of half eaten objects that included, among, others a wallet, a notebook, and a key chain. The betting options were nothing spectacular on this machine but they did manage to get the job done. Players had the ability to bet on up to nine different pay lines any given spin with a minimum bet of penny and maximum bet of 75 dollars. The graphics were done very well and I never experienced any type of glitch or prolonged loading screen. The sounds were nothing special and really didn't add to the game in either positive or negative fashion.

The wild symbol on Munchkins Slots was a picture of a clear, blue balloon with wheels on the bottom of it. This symbol only served to confuse me more as to the intended theme. This symbol appeared on every reel and could be used to substitute for any symbol in the game other than the scatter and bonus symbols. I thought this was a little too simple for my likings and I would have appreciated a prize multiplier or some other special feature. Yet, I think the designers were aiming to put their emphasis on other facets of the game.

I really liked the scatter symbol that was offered on Munchkins Slots. The symbol itself was a picture of a cookie with the word scatter on it. This symbol appeared on every reel and awarded a prize whenever two or more appeared anywhere on the screen together. The reel fun though started whenever three or more appeared together. When this happened the game automatically awarded 20 free spins during which all prizes obtained were automatically doubled. I think this was a great feature because it was pretty easy to obtain, because twenty free games is near the most free spins offered on any machine, and it could really lead to some huge wins because the prizes were being doubled.

Munchkins Slots Gamble Feature

This game offered one more additional bonus feature that was small, but really served to add a whole lot of excitement. This was the gamble feature. Basically, after any prize was won a special button at the bottom of the screen would appear that said "gamble". When this button was clicked you were told to choose either black or red. After you choose the card was flipped over and if you guessed correctly the prize awarded was automatically doubled. If you choose incorrectly you lost all your winnings. You could continue doing this until you reached you limit. I thought this was a great feature because it really didn't make the game any more confusing but had the effect of making it a lot more exciting.

Overall, this was a really fun and well executed machine. The designers really didn't bring anything new or innovative to the table but they did execute the features they did decide to include very well. I liked the fact that I could turn the game on and know all the rules within minutes. This makes for a more exciting play right away and thusly I would recommend this slots to anyone who is just looking for a strait-forward well done slots machine.
