Moonshine Slots is a pretty solid slots machine that I wasn't floored by but did enjoy playing. There wasn't anything really innovative, such as new symbols or features, but I thought that they did offer enough different elements to really make it a machine worth playing. They symbols were actually pretty cool on this machine. They included a variety of different classic backwoods Tennessee hillbillies and various other relevant icons. I liked the symbols the most because I felt like the special icons were very easy to identify and this really helped the game run smoother, thusly adding to the excitement. The sounds were actually kind of cool on this machine and I found the background noises to be pretty relaxing and comforting. The rest of the sounds really helped to bring the intended theme to life. The graphics were also done very well. The visual design was above average and players can expect to not run into any prolonged loading screens or glitches in the game play. The betting options were where this machine really shines. Players could bet on up to 25 different pay lines on any given spin. This is a very above average number and this really helped to increase players chances of winning on any given spin. It also helped to increase the betting range on this machine and players could spin the reels for as little as penny or for as much as 125 dollars. This is an excellent betting range and I'd be surprised to find very many people who needed a large one.

Moonshine Slots Wild Symbol

The wild symbol on Moonshine Slots was a picture of grandma sitting in a rocking chair with a shotgun. This symbol appeared on every reel and could be used to substitute for any symbol in the game other than the scatter and bonus symbols. This symbol could have really used a prize multiplier or a some other additional feature to make it something really worth rooting for. Fortunately for this machine, though, the designers did add some other different bonus features to help make up for this symbols lack of excitement. I did like the fact though that it was very easy to identify the symbol and the icon itself was actually pretty cool.

Moonshine Slots Scatter Symbol

A picture of a sheriff served as the scatter symbol for Moonshine Slots. This symbol appeared on every reel and was used to award a prize whenever three or more of these symbols appeared anywhere on the screen together. Though it wasn't exactly my favorite concept for an icon I did appreciate the fact that it was pretty easy to identify. Yet, since they didn't really add anything all that special to this symbol I really didn't feel like it had as large of an impact on the game that it could have had.

Moonshine Slots Bonus Game

I felt that the bonus game was very simple on this machine but it did serve to add an extra element of excitement. The bonus game was initiated by a very easy to identify mason jar with the word "bonus" on it. Basically, whenever three or more of these symbols appeared anywhere on the screen together you were automatically awarded some free spins. The more scatter symbols that were obtained together the more free spins that were initially awarded. After the initial free spins were awarded players were given the opportunity to win additional spin and prize multipliers on a bonus screen. During this time players simply selected among a variety of squares to reveal either a free spin or a prize multiplier. The number of picks a players was given directly corresponded to the number of bonus symbol he obtained to initiate it. This was a very simple bonus game and I really didn't feel like it offered the machine as much excitement as it should have.

Overall, this is just a solid slots machine and nothing all that special. The bonus features could have been done much better. The bonus game did add an element of excitement but even that could have been done better I thought. I would recommend this machine to any player that is looking for some solid and simple bonus features that they won't be overwhelmed by.
