Both of these factors helped the game run much more smoothly. There was a feature on this machine that became activated after any winning spin known as the gamble feature. After a win you simply pressed the gamble button and you were then taken to a different screen where you had to guess either what the color or the suit of the next card to be flipped over was. If you guessed the color right your prize was doubled and if you guessed the suit right you prize was quadrupled. Of course if you guessed incorrectly for either then you lost all your winnings on that spin.

The wild symbol offered on World Tour Slots was a picture of a blue boat. This symbol appeared on every reel and could be used to substitute for any symbol in the game other than the scatter and bonus symbols. For me, this was just too simple of a wild symbol for my likings. I thought that the designers really should have thought about adding another feature to this symbols, such as a prize multiplier, to give it a bigger impact on the overall game play. I did like the fact that it appeared on every reel though as this did serve to effectively increase the overall winning percentages which made the game more engaging and thusly more exciting.

This symbol appeared on every reel and was used to award a prize whenever two or more scatter symbol appeared anywhere on the screen together at the same time. More importantly though, this symbol was also used to award free spins. If three appeared on the screen together then ten free spins were awarded, if four appeared then twenty were awarded, and if five appeared then fifty were awarded. I thought this was a very simple feature but it did effectively provide a lot of excitement especially since it was very easy to get ten free spins.

This symbol appeared on every reel and its sole purpose was to activate the bonus game. When the bonus game was activated players were taken to a separate screen where they had to choose six locations from around the world to fly to. At each stop you were awarded a prize and the more bonus symbols used to activate the bonus game the larger the prizes were. I thought this was a pretty effective bonus game even though it was really simple. Since it was really easy to obtain it really did bring a lot of excitement to the overall gaming experience.

Overall, I thought this was a solid slots machine but nothing special. There wasn't really anything innovative or new being offered on this machine so I thought it really needed to do everything perfectly to stand out in my mind. World Tour Slots just did not do this for me. I thought there should have been more added to the wild symbol being offered and the visual graphics could have been done much better.
