This meant that there were a few symbols that looked a lot of like which served to slow down the overall game play. I did like the sounds offered on this machine though. I thought they really helped to bring the theme to life and had a positive impact on the overall gaming experience for a change. This machine also offered a gamble feature that became available after any winning spin. After a win you simply just pressed the gamble feature where you had to guess either the color or the suit of the next card to be flipped over. If you guessed the color right your winnings were doubled and if you guessed the suit correctly your winnings were quadrupled. Of course, if you guessed incorrectly for either all you winnings for that spin were automatically lost.

The scatter symbol offered on Space Ace Slots was a picture of a very weird looking alien. This symbol appeared on every reel and was used to award a prize whenever two or more appeared anywhere on the screen together at the same time. It was also used to activate a free spin bonus feature. I really wasn't too crazy about what it took to activate these spins though. Five scatter symbols had to appear on the screen for the free spins to activate which was pretty hard to do. When this did happen though fifteen free spins were awarded during which all prizes won were automatically doubled. I would have liked this feature a whole lot more if it wasn't so hard to obtain.

In addition to this, the wild symbol was also used to award the progressive jackpot. The progressive jackpot was awarded whenever five wild symbols appeared on an activate pay line. I really liked the fact that the designers made a symbol responsible for awarding the progressive jackpot because this made the process a lot more exciting as opposed to just awarding it randomly.

The bonus symbol offered on Space Ace Slots was a picture of a ray gun. This symbol appeared on every reel and its sole purpose was to activate the bonus game. The bonus game was activated whenever four or more bonus symbols appeared on an activate pay line. This sounds like a pretty daunting task but it was actually made a lot easier when considering that the wild symbols could help out. When the bonus game was activated players were taken to a separate screen where they had to choose one out of the nine planets in order to receive a randomly selected prize. If you used five bonus symbols to activate the bonus game then you were allowed to choose two planets. I really wasn't too crazy about this bonus game. It was actually pretty easy to activate but I just wish the prizes it awarded would have been larger.
Overall, I thought this was a pretty decent slots machine but nothing special. I just thought that some of the features could have been executed a lot better. This kind of left me wanting more from this machine. I think that if the designers just take some time out to redo some of the little things on this slots machine then this has the potential to be a great slot.
