The first thing I noticed about this machine were the symbols. Though some of them were a little creepy I liked the fact that they were all very unique from one another and I never ran into any type of problem confusing the symbols with one another. After a win you simply clicked on the gamble button and you had to guess the color or the suit of the card that the alien was to turn over. If you guessed the color right your prize was doubled and if you guessed the suit right the prize you were awarded was quadrupled. Yet, if you guessed incorrectly the prize you were awarded for the spin was automatically lost. There was also a progressive jackpot feature which was awarded whenever five supernova symbols appeared on an activate pay line. I really liked the fact that the designers made a symbol responsible for awarding the progressive jackpot rather than just awarding it randomly which seems to be the trend.

The wild symbol offered on Space Ace Slots was a picture of a supernova. This symbol appeared on every reel and could be used to substitute for any symbol in the game excluding the scatter symbol but including the bonus symbol. I liked the fact that this symbol was available on every reel because it really helped to increase the overall winning percentages which made the game more engaging, and thusly more exciting. I also really liked the fact that it could also substitute for the bonus symbol as it made it much easier to obtain.

This symbol appeared on every reel and was used to award a prize whenever two or more appeared anywhere on the screen together. It more important role though, in my opinion, was in activating a bonus spin feature. Whenever five scatter symbols appeared anywhere on the screen together, this is much easier than it sounds promise, fifteen free games were automatically awarded. During these free games all prizes that were won were automatically tripled so you really had the opportunity to rack up some huge wins. I really liked this feature for the simple fact that it led to big winnings.

The bonus game was activated whenever four or more bonus symbols were obtained anywhere on the screen together. The bonus symbol was a picture of a ray gun and was available on every reel. When you obtained four bonus symbol you were taken to a separate screen where you could choose one of the nine planets to reveal a randomly generated prize. If you used five bonus symbols to activate the bonus game then you were awarded two picks. The bonus game was actually pretty easy to obtain, at least a lot easier than it sounds, because the wild symbol could substitute for it which is a pretty rare thing.

Overall, I thought this was a pretty solid slots machine but nothing special. I would have liked to have seen a little more originality infused into this game as I think this would have made it stick out from the other thousands of slots machine. I did like how they did the features though because they did make the game exciting and conducive to playing for extended periods of time.
