I thought they were very well done and it really brought the theme to life and made the game more engaging, and thusly more exciting. The sounds also really played their part in bringing the theme to life and for once I didn't have to slam my mute button immediately. The symbols were also pretty well done on this machine. Not only did they embody the theme but they were also all unique enough to ensure that I would never run into any problems confusing them with one another. This machine also offered a gamble feature that became available after any winning spin. After a win you simply just pressed the gamble feature where you had to guess either the color or the suit of the next card to be flipped over. If you guessed the color right your winnings were doubled and if you guessed the suit correctly your winnings were quadrupled. Of course, if you guessed incorrectly for either all you winnings for that spin were automatically lost.

The wild symbol offered on this machine was a picture of an island surrounded by water. This symbol appeared on every reel and could be used to substitute for any symbol in the game other than the scatter and bonus symbols. My favorite part about this symbol was that it was also used as a prize multiplier. This meant that whenever this symbols was used as a part of a winning combination the prize awarded doubled. As if all of this wasn't enough, they also made this symbol responsible for awarding the progressive jackpot. The progressive jackpot was awarded whenever five wild symbol appeared together on an active pay line when a maximum bet was being made. I really prefer this way of doing the progressive jackpot over just awarding it randomly because it just makes the whole process a lot more exciting. They really loaded the features onto this symbol and I think it was effective because I got really excited when they started to pile up on the screen.

This symbol appeared on every reel and could be used to award a prize whenever two or more appeared anywhere on the screen together at the same time. The most important role of this symbol though, in my opinion, was to activate a free spin bonus feature. If three scatter symbols appeared five bonus spins were awarded, if four appeared then ten bonus spins were awarded, and if five appeared then twenty free spins were awarded. This was a simple bonus feature but it was effective because, hey, who doesn't like free spins?

The bonus game offered on this machine was activated whenever three or more bonus symbols appeared anywhere on the screen together. The bonus symbol itself was a picture of a wooden tiki man. This symbol appeared on every reel and its sole purpose was to activate the bonus game. When the bonus game was activated players were taken to a different screen where they to select one of three tiki huts to reveal a randomly assigned prize. I really didn't like this bonus game because I thought it was way to simple and it was actually a lot harder to obtain than it sounded like.

Overall, I wasn't overly impressed by this slots machine. Yes, I did love the visual graphics employed on this machine but this really is only enough to keep you amused for a few short minutes. Some of the features on this machine were really well executed and some of them weren't. This is besides the point though since what I was really looking for was originality which this game was severely lacking. There jus wasn't anything offered on this machine that really stood out in my mind and for that reason I don't think I'll be coming back to play it again.
