Atlantis Slots is a slots machine that has more features loaded onto it than I have ever seen on one machine before. There is really a lot going on with this machine and it seemed like I was constantly playing a bonus game or some free spins, which is awesome. I liked the fact that the designers were able to do this without making the game overwhelming. That is probably because they really didn't try to step too outside of the box with the features so most players will be familiar with what's being offered. The first thing I noticed about this machine were the superb visual graphics. The game just ran incredibly smooth and instead of the reels spinning the symbols actually popped up out of little water sprouts. This was a cool effect and was a nice change of pace from the traditional spinning of the reels. Atlantis Slots also offered a gamble feature. This feature was made available after any winning spin and you simply had to click on the gamble button to activate it. When this happened you were taken to a different screen where you had to guess either the color of the next card to be available or the suit of the next card. If you guessed the color correctly your spin was automatically doubled and if you guessed the suit right you spin was quadrupled but if you guessed incorrectly you lost all your winnings.

The wild symbol offered on Atlantis Slots was a picture of what the game called a merking. This symbol appeared on every reel and could be used to substitute for any symbol in the game other than the various scatter symbols. I thought this was a little too simple of a wild symbol for my likings but with so many other things going on the game still succeeded despite this. I did like the fact that it appeared on every reel though because this really helped increase the overall winning percentages which made the game more engaging and thusly more exciting.

One of the scatter symbols offered on Atlantis Slots was a picture of a nautilus. This symbol appeared on every reel and was used to award a prize whenever two or more appeared anywhere on a pay line together at the same time. More importantly though, this symbol was also used to activate a bonus spin feature. Whenever three or more of these scatter symbols appeared on the screen bonus spins were automatically awarded. If you activated it with three then five bonus games were awarded, with four fifteen bonus games were awarded, and with five 25 bonus games were awarded. During these bonus games all prizes awarded were automatically tripled so you could really rack up some big winnings.

There were three other scatter symbols offered on this machine that were coupled with three separate bonus games. The symbols were a picture of a seahorse, an obelisk, and a spherical astrolabe. Basically, whenever three of the same symbols appeared on the screen at the same time a bonus game was automatically activated. The more scatter symbols used to activate the bonus game the more winning potential you had during the game. I really liked the fact that they decided to do the bonus games like this because it offered tons of excitement but kept things simple enough as to no overwhelm players. These were definitely the most exciting parts of the game and I think they made the game, by themselves, worth playing.

Overall, I thought this was a great slots machine and I think that players are really going to enjoy playing it. My only complain would be that I didn't think the betting range had a high enough maximum allowable bet as I think players are going to be encouraged to drop some serious money on this machine. The designers also struck an excellent balance between adding a lot of features while still keeping the machine very use friendly which is a very hard thing to do. I would recommend this machine to anyone especially if you've got a thing for bonus games.
