I thought that they were able to create a machine like this though with a nice balance of simplicity that kept the game very user friendly. The first thing I noticed about this machine were the symbols. I really wasn't too crazy about how they decided to do the symbols. While it was a cool effect that the symbols popped up from water sprouts I thought that once they appeared they were very hard to see and identify. This really served to slow down the overall game play and made the game less engaging. This machine also offered a gamble feature that became available after any winning spin. After a win you simply just pressed the gamble feature where you had to guess either the color or the suit of the next card to be flipped over. If you guessed the color right your winnings were doubled and if you guessed the suit correctly your winnings were quadrupled. Of course, if you guessed incorrectly for either all you winnings for that spin were automatically lost.

The wild symbol offered on Atlantis Slots was a picture of a Merking. This symbol appeared on every reel and could be used to substitute for any symbol in the game other than the various scatter symbols. This was an incredibly simple wild symbol and I wasn't too crazy about. I did like the fact that it appeared on every reel though because this did raise the overall winning percentages which made the game much more exciting. This symbol really didn't need to be all that great though as there were plenty of other features offered on this machine on which the designers decided to place the focus of the game on.

This symbol appeared on every reel and could be used to award a prize whenever two or more appeared anywhere on the screen together at the same time. More importantly though , this symbol was also used to activate a free spin bonus feature. Whenever three scatter symbols appeared five free spins were awarded, if four appeared then fifteen free spins were awarded, and if five scatter symbols were obtained then 25 free spins were awarded. My favorite part about this whole symbol thing was that all prizes won during this time were automatically tripled. This really helped to make these free spins a whole lot more exciting.

There were three additional scatter symbols offered in this game that were coupled with three additional bonus games. All of these symbols in addition to being able to activate bonus games were also able to award prizes whenever two or more appeared anywhere on the screen together. Their bonus games were activated whenever three or more appeared on the screen together. The first of these scatter symbols was a seahorse and activated the seahorse derby bonus game. The second was an obelisk and the third was a spherical astrolabe. I though that this was a really cool thing the designers did by including three different bonus games on this machine. It really led to constant excitement and some really big prizes.

Overall, I thought this was a great bonus game. The designers really stepped outside of the box here and offered up a way of doing the its special features that I have yet to see. I thought the game was full of constant excitement and I felt like I was always playing some free spins or a bonus game. I would highly recommend this slots machine especially if you're someone who really likes bonus games.
