Zone Of The Zombies Slots is a pretty well done slots machine. The visual design isn't quite as well done as it is on some of the other Frightmare Slot Machines but this isn't to say that they're bad. The first thing I noticed about this machine were the symbols. There were a ton of symbols offered on this machine and this does require a pretty long learning curve that is necessary to grasp all the different values. After this is done though the large number of symbols is a positive thing because it prevents the game from getting repetitive and monotonous. The betting options on this machine were very well done and they should appease players of all bank rolls. There were twenty five different pay lines upon which players could bet on. This really served to increase the overall winning percentages, when all lines were being played, and offered more flexibility as to how much money a player had to spend. The betting range was more than adequate and the minimum bet required to spin the reels was only a penny and the maximum bet allowed was 250 dollars. Zone Of The Zombies Slots also offered a progressive jackpot that was awarded randomly at the end of any paid spin. The game stated that your chances of winning the progressive jackpot were increased the more money that you spent. I really wasn't a big fan of this jackpot because I felt that by awarding the jackpot randomly it didn't have a very large impact on the game play in general.

This symbol appeared on every reel and could be used to substitute for any symbol in the game other than the scatter symbol. This was a very simply designed wild symbol. It did really increase the winning percentages by appearing on every reel but I really didn't get all that excited when this symbol appeared on the screen because there just wasn't enough riding on it. I think the symbol would have really benefited had the designers include some sort of additional feature such as a prize multiplier.

A picture of a man wielding a large machine gun served as the scatter symbol on Zone Of The Zombie Slots. This symbol appeared on every reel and was used to award a prize whenever two or more appeared anywhere on the screen together at the same time. The scatter symbol was also used to award activate the bonus game. The bonus game was activated whenever three or more scatter symbols appeared anywhere on the screen together. When this happened players were taken to a different screen and had to shoot zombies as the progressed towards you so that you could get into the police station. You got a prize for every zombie you shot and if you made it to the police station additional prizes were awarded. If you got eaten by a zombie then the game was ended and your prizes up until that point were awarded. I thought this was a pretty fun bonus game because I actually felt like I was in control of the prize that was being awarded and also because, who doesn't like to shot zombies?

Overall, I thought this was a pretty solid slots machine that offered a lot of excitement, especially with its bonus game. The betting options were excellent and should meet the needs of all players. The only thing I think this game can improve on is to add more features to the wild symbol so that there are two symbols that players can really root for and get excited about.
