I wasn't really blown away by any of the features or special symbols but I thought that the designers did a nice job of taking care of the small things. This led to a game that played very smoothly and was actually more engaging than I first thought it was going to be. The first thing I noticed about this machine were the betting options and I thought that they were done to perfection. Players could bet on up to 25 pay lines before any given spin. This is about as high a number of pay lines you can expect to see on a slots machine and it really served to increase the winning percentage and make the game much more engaging. The minimum bet that a player had to make was only a penny and the maximum bet was 250 dollars. This is an absolutely excellent betting rang and I can't imagine that anyone could find that it didn't meet their needs. The graphics on this machine were actually very well done and I was rather impressed by the visual design. You could tell that the designers were really paying attention to the details of the machine. This was also true of the symbols. My only complaint would be that sometimes it was hard to remember which symbols were worth the most.

The wild symbol on Time Machine Slots was a picture of a man freaking out. I'm guessing he was freaking out because he was scared of traveling through time. This symbol appeared on every reel and could be used to substitute for any symbol in the game other than th scatter symbol. I liked the fact that this symbol appeared on every reel but I really would have preferred it if the designers would have added an additional feature such as a prize multiplier. This really would have made this symbol carry more weight.

A picture of what appeared to be some kind of wormhole or black hole served as the scatter symbol for Time Machine Slots. This symbol appeared on every reel and was used to award a prize whenever two or more appeared anywhere on the screen together. The best part about this symbol though was apparent whenever three or more symbols appeared together. When this happened fifteen free games were awarded during which all prizes won were automatically tripled. I thought this was a really cool scatter symbol and by doing it this way the designers ensured that it was the focal point of the entire machine.

Overall, I really enjoyed playing this slots machine. This really goes to prove that you don't have to add a bunch of complex and cumbersome special features to make a game fun. You just have to execute the features you do decide to include well and take care of all the little things. The designers did this and this is why the game succeeded.
