Thor Slots is a pretty simple and strait forward slots machine. The theme follows the classic Marvel comic book Thor. The first place that I noticed this very well executed theme was in the symbols the designers decided to include. The symbols included various characters and icons from that were staples of the comic. There were a ton of different symbols included on this machine. For those who are fans of the theme this will be a welcome addition but for those casual players this may serve to be a cumbersome aspect of the slot machine that does take some time to get used to. It also has the effect of slowing the game down because it's hard to keep track of what symbols are worth the most. The betting options on this machine were pretty good but nothing amazing. The betting range was sufficient and players could spin the reels for as little as a nickel or for as much as 45 dollars. There were nine different pay lines available on this machine but I really thought that it could have used more due to the large number of symbols offered. Nine pay lines just doesn't increase the winning percentages enough for my likings. There were also three different progressive jackpots offered on this machine: the hero jackpot, the superhero jackpot, and the Marvel hero jackpot. The only difference among these jackpots was the amount each awarded with the hero jackpot being the smallest and the Marvel jackpot being the largest. The progressive jackpots were awarded at random after any paid spin and the more money you bet the better you chances of winning were.

Thor Slots Wild Symbol

A picture of Thor himself served as the wild symbol on Thor Slots. This symbol appeared on ever reel and could be used to substitute for any symbol in the game other than the scatter symbol. I really thought they should have added more to this symbol. Thor should have been the most important symbol in the game but without an additional feature, such as a prize multiplier, it really didn't have as much impact as it probably should have. I just don't think the designers provided enough incentive to get excited about this wild symbol.

Thor Slots Scatter Symbol And Bonus Feature

The scatter symbol offered on Thor Slots was a picture of an icon that said "Thor" in blue letters. This symbol appeared on every reel and was used to award a prize whenever two or more appeared anywhere on the screen. This symbol as also used to award bonus spins. Ten bonus spins were awarded whenever three or more scatter symbol appeared anywhere on the screen together. During the bonus games all prizes awarded were automatically tripled. I thought this was a very solid bonus feature because it was pretty easy to obtain and by tripling all the prizes you can really come away with some very large prizes. I also liked the fact that the scatter symbol stood out very nicely from the other symbols which made it easier to root for.

Overall, I thought this was a pretty solid slots machine but nothing that amazing. There were definitely some places were the designers could have improved some of the features but they still managed to provide a very solid playing experience. I would suggest this slots machine to anyone who is a fan of this classic slots machine or anyone just looking for a solid and fairly simply five reel slots machine.
