This is the first time that I have heard of The Submariner but that's probably because I'm not a huge fan of comics. If the comic is anywhere near as good as this slots machine is then I think I might be forced to check it out. This is a really solid slots machine that I thoroughly enjoyed playing. I don't think anyone's going to be blown away by the features that were included on this machine, as they're pretty traditional, but I thought the designers really took care of all the little things necessary to make a slots machine great. The first of these things are the visuals. The theme was brought to life extremely and I think most players will be impressed. The Submariner Slots also offered a progressive jackpot that was awarded randomly at the conclusion of any paying spin. There were three different jackpots, the hero jackpot, the super hero jackpot, and the Marvel hero jackpot with the latter being worth the most. Though I usually prefer a symbol be responsible for a jackpot like this I thought that it was still able to bring some excitement to the table because it was activated so often.

The wild symbol offered on The Submariner Slots was a picture of the submariner himself. This symbol appeared on every reel and could be used to substitute for any symbol in the game other than the scatter symbol. This wild symbol also came with a very cool bonus feature that was activated whenever it appeared on reels one and five at the same time. When this happened the submariner would swim across the reels turning some of the icons into wild symbols. If any new winning combination were formed then prizes were awarded, This was a great wild symbol and it really brought a lot of fun and excitement to the table and improved the overall quality of the gaming experience.

A picture of and icon that simply said "the submariner" served as the scatter symbol on The Submariner Slots. This symbol appeared on every reel and was used to award a prize whenever two or more appeared anywhere on the screen together at the same time. Much more importantly though this symbol was also used to activate a bonus game. Whenever three or more scatter symbols appeared anywhere on the screen together the bonus game was activated. When this happened players were taken to a different screen where you had to choose three out of the six submarines and war ships to destroy. Each destroyed ship either revealed a prize of credits or free spins. During the free spins all prizes won were automatically doubled. I thought this was a really great bonus game. For one it looked absolutely amazing and for two it did what it was supposed to do in guaranteeing a very nice prize.

Overall, I thought this was a great slots machine. I may not have been aware of who the submariner is but I know that he definitely has a great slots machine out there themed after him. All the features on this machine were spot and I definitely think I'll be coming back to this machine for a repeat play. I would highly recommend this slots machine to anyone.
