The graphics on this machine were very good and this was evident with the basic layout of the machine and the symbols. There were a lot of symbols included on this machine. The symbols depicted various characters and icons from the classic story. I usually am not a huge fan of loading up a game with a ton of symbols but I think that the target audience, fans of the comic, will appreciate this aspect of the slot. For those who are not fans, the multitude of symbols will take a little getting used to and may slow down the game play during the beginning of your playing session. The sounds were pretty well done on this machine and the really helped to bring the theme to life and make the game experience more engaging. The betting options offered on this machine were solid but nothing great. There were nine different pay lines available for players to bet on which I felt was a little low considering how many symbols were being included. Players could spin the reels for as little as a nickel or for as much as 45 dollars which is a betting range that should meet the needs of most players. The Punisher Slots also featured three different progressive jackpots: the hero jackpot, the superhero jackpot, and the Marvel hero jackpot. This jackpots were awarded at random at the end of any paid spin. The only difference among the three was in how large the prize offered was with the hero jackpot being the smallest and the Marvel hero jackpot being the largest. The game stated that the more money you bet the higher your chances of winning one of the jackpots was.

The Punisher Slots offered a pretty simple wild symbol. The symbol itself was a picture of the punisher wielding a shotgun. This symbol appeared on every reel and could be used to substitute for any symbol in the game other than the scatter symbol. I really wasn't too impressed with this wild symbol. I think that the designers would have been wiser to include one of the bonus features with this symbol rather than including both with the scatter symbol. This would have provided two symbols worth rooting for and would have made the game much more exciting.

The Punisher Slots Scatter Symbol And Bonus Feature

A picture of the Punisher skull icon served as the scatter symbol on The Punisher Slots. This symbol was by far the most important symbol on the machine and really led to almost all of the excitement and the big wins. This symbol appeared on every reel and was used to award a prize whenever three or more appeared anywhere on the screen together at the same time. This feature was also used to activate two different bonus features. The first bonus feature was activated whenever scatter symbol appeared on both reels one and five at the same time. When this happened ten free games were awarded during which all prizes were automatically doubled. I liked this specific bonus feature because it was pretty easy to obtain and by doubling the prizes you could really rack up some large prizes during you free spins.

The Punisher Slots Bonus Game

The bonus game was activated whenever three scatter symbols appeared together from left to right. When this happened players were taken to a different screen and presented with twelve different windows that you could shoot at. Players had to shoot five of the windows and were then randomly awarded a multiple of their original bet for each bad guy they hit. I thought this was a decent bonus game. It was a little hard to obtain but you were pretty much gaurenteed to walk away with a pretty prize whenever you played it. It also was something, along with the other bonus feature, that really made the scatter symbol the entire focus of the machine.

Overall, I thought this was a very fun and engaging slot machine. I believe this machine will draw players regardless, because they're fans of the comic, but I really think that other players should give this slots machine a try as well. The scatter symbol is really exciting on this machine and it gets pretty exciting whenever they start to pile up on the screen.
