The Hulk $0.50 Slots is one of the more complex slot machines I have ever played. There are a ton of little features added onto this machine and I did think that it was a little overwhelming at first. Once you had all the features down the game was very exciting and offered a lot of action that kept me very engaged in the playing experience. The first thing I notice about this machine was the fact that you could only bet one amount on every spin. This would have been a really big problem but the designers created three or similar machines with different coin values so you just have to play the one that falls in your pay range. I thought that the symbols were very well done on this machine. The designers added enough symbols to keep things from getting boring and monotonous too quickly which is something that many three reel machines suffer from. The graphics were very good on this machine. The visual design was very well done as it helped to bring the theme to life and I never experienced any glitches or prolonged loading screens. The sounds also helped create the theme and actually contributed to the game play in a positive way for a change.

The Hulk $0.50 Slots offered a ton of different little features that all contributed to giving the players a lot of different playing options. This machine included what are known as the hold and nudge features. Basically, at the end of a spin the machine will randomly allow you to nudge a reel down to create a winning combination or hold a reel and place and respin the other reels. This only served to increase you chances of winning on any given spin and in many cases it turned losing hands into big winners for me. Another feature included on this machine was the hi/lo feature. After any win players were given the option to bet on whether the next number presented in the liquid filled tube would be higher or lower than the present number. If you guessed correctly then you moved up a rung on the cash ladder. You could do this all the way up to a 1000 dollars or you could collect your winnings at any time. If you guessed incorrectly all winnings up until that point were automatically forfeited. To collect your award on the cash ladder you had to play the game that each spot dictated on the cash ladder such as a hi/lo game or various side games.

The scatter symbol used on this machine was a little different than most traditional scatter symbols. The symbol itself was a little radioactive button that appeared in the top right hand corner of any symbol. This scatter symbol wasn't used to award a prize but rather to activate the bonus game. The Hulk feature board was activated whenever three or more scatter symbols appeared anywhere on the screen or when you won a hi/lo guess and choose the board game option. The Super Hulk feature board was activated whenever three scatter symbols appeared on the pay line or when you obtained three radioactive symbols on The Hulk feature board. During the board game you simply clicked spin to move along the board and followed the directions on every spot you landed on. During the bonus game you had the options to still play the high/lo game and you could collect you winnings at any point and time. The various spots on the board included various prize multipliers and additional side games that could lead to some pretty decent prizes. The two board games were basically identical and only differed in that The Super Hulk feature board offered larger and better prizes.

Overall, I really had a lot of fun playing this machine once I got all the features that were included on this machine. This slot isn't going to be for everyone as many people will not want to go through the pretty long learning curve that is required on this machine. I think the reason I liked this slots machine so much was because it gave players so many options as to what they wanted to do as far as being risky or playing safe. I don't know if this would be a very good slot machine for me to play on a regular basis though because I just can't resist risking it every time.
