Super Sideshow $0.25 Slots is a very complex and advanced three reel slots machine. The designers really packed on the features on this slot and I must admit that I was a little overwhelmed when I first began playing. There is a pretty long learning curve associated with this machine and I think that a lot of players are going to be turned off by this immediately. Once you get the hang of everything though it really does provide a very exciting and engaging gaming experience. This machine didn't really offer a lot of different symbols on this machine which can lead to problems on most three reel machines but I didn't think it was too big of a deal with this slot because it had so many other things going on. The visual graphics were nothing spectacular but the graphics were done well enough to prevent any type of glitches or additional loading screens. The sounds offered on this machine were pretty bad and annoying. If it were not for the mute button I don't think I could have played for more than a few minutes. Another thing I really didn't like about this machine was the fact that there was only one bet that you could place for every spin which was a quarter. If you wanted to bet a different amount you essentially had to go play a whole new machine.

There were a ton of little features added throughout the game that the designers decided to add. These features were pretty cool and provided excitement at every point of the gaming experience. The first of these features was the cash ladder. The cash ladder was to the right of the screen and basically after every win you were given the opportunity to play a game of hi/lo. You had to guess whether the next number to be presented on the screen was going to be higher or lower than the number that was currently present. If you guessed incorrectly all your winnings were lost but if you guessed correctly then you were moved up a place in the cash ladder. To collect you prize from the cash ladder you had to press exchange to play a side game that dictated the amount you were to be awarded. The higher you went on the cash ladder the larger the rewards became. There were also two features called the nudge and the hold that were offered on this machine. Basically after a spin the produces no wins the computer randomly selected to award the nudge or hold feature. The nudge feature allowed you to move the reels down a space up to four times to create a winning combination. The hold feature allowed you to hold one or two reels in place to spin the other reels to try and create a winning combination. These were pretty cool features and the turned losing spins into big winners many times for me and kept the excitement rolling even when you weren't winning.

The scatter symbol offered on this machine was used only to activate the feature board features. The symbol as a picture of a clowns face that appeared in the top right corner of random symbols. The sideshow feature board was activated whenever three clown symbols appeared anywhere on the screen together or when you won a hi/lo game and pressed the exchange button. The Super Sideshow feature board was activated whenever three scatter symbols were obtained on the pay line or when you collect three super sideshow spaces on the first sideshow feature board. During the feature board game you simply clicked spin to move you marker and at each stop you simply followed the directions on the screen. You could choose to stop at any time to collect you winnings or to try for the cash ladder prize. You could also play hi/lo after any turn to advance your way up the cash ladder. The two feature boards were essential the same only that the super sideshow feature board offered larger and better prizes. I thought this was a pretty cool bonus feature because it was incredibly easy to obtain and if you played your cards right you could walk away with some really large prizes.

Overall, I thought this was a very fun and exciting slots machine once you got used to all the various feature that were offered. This machine will not be for everyone as the game does require a very long learning curve but if you like a challenge I think this may be the slots machine for you.
