I really liked the design of the symbols and the overall feel of the layout itself. I thought this was really cool and led to an enhancement of the gaming experience. It also helped bring the theme alive and made me feel more engaged into the game play. The symbols were pretty cool on this machine and I liked the fact that the designers decided to include a lot of them. This had the effect of preventing things from getting repetitive and monotonous too quickly. The sound were also actually pretty well done on this machine, a rarity in the slotting world. They really played to the theme nicely and actually enhanced the game play. The thing I really didn't like about this machine were the betting options. There was only one available coin value on this machine, one dollar, and players could only bet up to three different coins. This really limited players as to how much money the could spend and is probably going to be an immediate turn off for most players. I really didn't see the reason for this and thought that it could have easily have been enhanced.

I really liked the bonus feature offered on Star Catcher Slots. This bonus feature was known as bonus accumulation. Basically, a star was added to a little box every time a player obtained three of the same symbol on a pay line. When the box was filled for that given symbol then a bonus prize was awarded. The only problem I had was that you had to obtain an outrageous amount of stars to gain the bonus prize. This meant that the bonus feature wasn't as exciting as it possibly could have been.

Overall, I thought this was a decent slots machine. The bonus feature really added a lot of excitement to the game and the designers were wise to take care of all the little things necessary to provide a quality play. The only thing preventing this from being a great slot were the betting options. If the designers just take care of this we could be on to something here.
