Star Catcher Slots is a very simple and straightforward three reel slots machine. I personally found things to be a little too simple for my likings. The first thing I noticed about this machine, which was not a good thing, were the betting options. This really limited players as to how much money they wanted to spend. It's also a factor that is really going to automatically eliminate this machine from consideration for many players. This game is really only useful if you want to play at this very specific value. I did like the fact that there were three different pay lines as this is enough to make a difference with the winning percentages on a machine with only three reels. The symbols were actually pretty well done in my opinion. I really liked the fact that the designers offered enough symbols to keep things from getting boring and monotonous too quickly. The graphics were good in the sense that I never ran into any type of glitch or additional loading screen. The sounds were actually pretty well done on this machine and I really appreciated the fact that they were all theme oriented.

Basically, there was a grid above the screen that kept track of every three of a kind symbol combination that you obtained while playing. When you obtained a certain number of these combinations an additional bonus prize was awarded. I would have liked this bonus feature a lot if it didn't require so many combinations to obtain the bonus prize. Seven three of a kind combinations is a lot to obtain on a three reel machine with only three pay lines.

Overall, I didn't think this machine was anything special. The betting options just weren't good enough and the bonus game simply didn't add enough excitement to the game. If I were the designers I would have made it much easier to obtain the bonus prize by lowering the number of three of a kind combinations required. I really wouldn't recommend this machine to anyone as I think you money and time could much better be spent elsewhere.
