Red Planet Slots is one of the more advanced classic slot machines offered by Cryptologic Slots. The first thing I noticed about this machine was not a positive one. The background noise for this machine was absolutely horrible. Apparently Mars sounds like an airport. I don't have any idea what the other sounds offered on this machine are like because I had to make use of the mute button immediately. There were actually a very healthy variety of symbols available on this machine. This is something I really appreciated because I could actually play this machine for a fairly long time before I got bored of seeing the same old symbols again and again. This is a problem that most three reel slot machine usually suffer from but not Red Planet Slots. The graphics were actually pretty cool on this machine and I liked the overall design of this machine. It resembled more of a video slot in its basic design and layout.

I really liked the betting options that were available on this machine. Players had the ability to bet on up to five different pay lines during any given spin. This was absolutely necessary for a three reel slots machine with so many symbols. Three would have been adequate but by making five pay lines available players winning percentages were greatly improved. The betting range was also very well done. Players could spin the reels for as little as a penny or for as much as 25 dollars. They also included a cool little compass to change the coin value which I thought was a very nice touch. There was also a autoplay option that was available. This was really handy when you were playing just to score the jackpot offered on this machine.

Overall, I thought this was actually a pretty well done three reel slots machine. They didn't offer a lot in the way of bonus features or special symbols but they did make the game exciting by offering several pay lines and making the betting range very large. I would recommend this machine to any player that isn't looking for anything to complex and just wants to experience the greatness that a three reel slots machine can offer.
