Nothing But Net Slots is a fairly simple slots machine that offers some decent features. There wasn't anything too spectacular or amazing about this machine but I did enjoy playing it. The features are very bland and I have seen them done on hundreds of other machines. The first thing I noticed about this slots machine were the symbols. There were a lot of symbols on this machine but I thought that it was still relatively easy to identify which ones were the important ones. This really helped the game run a lot smooth and thusly made it more exciting and fun to play. I also liked the fact that all the symbols were different enough from each other that I never got them mixed up. The betting options were pretty good on this machine but not great. The betting range extended for a minimum for a dime to as much as 45 dollars. I really liked the fact that there were nine different pay lines that players could bet on during any given spin. This had the effect of increasing a players chance at winning during any given spin and led to a lot more winning action. The sounds were very generic on this machine and I really wish they would have tried to embrace the basketball theme with them.

The scatter symbol on Nothing But Net Slots is a picture of a huge scoreboard. This symbol appeared on every reel and awarded a prize whenever two or more appeared anywhere on the screen together. This was all there was to the scatter symbol. I really thought this was just too simple and the symbol became pretty much a non fact as a result. It is a rare thing to see a designer include a scatter symbol that is this simple. This probably isn't done, and should be done, for good reason.

The wild symbol on this machine was also used to activate some free spins. The wild symbol was a picture of an icon that said nothing but net. This symbol only appeared on reels one and five and could be used to substitute for any symbol in the game other than the scatter symbol. The symbols real power was displayed whenever a wild symbol appeared on both reels one and five. When this happened fifteen free spins were automatically awarded during which all prizes awarded were automatically doubled. I thought that this was an excellent wild symbol and it was really the emphasis of the entire game. It did an effective job in that anytime I got a wild symbol on the first reel and really started to get excited.

Overall, this was just a decent slot machine for me but nothing spectacular. I really wish they would have included more with scatter symbol. This would have given players something else to root about which really would have increased the excitement of the game.
