I thought this was a pretty fun and exciting slot machine. The designers offered a very nice balance of new features and traditional features. This led to a game that remained interesting and engaging for extended periods of time. The first thing I noticed about this machine though wasn't exactly something positive. This game included a ton of different symbols and at times I thought it was pretty hard to keep track of all of them and what they meant as far as value was concerned. One thing I do have to say though is that the special symbols did stand out nicely. The betting options were respectable on this machine but they definitely could have been done better. The minimum bet required to spin the reels was a nickel and the maximum possible bet was 45 dollars. I thought this was a decent betting range and it should meet the needs of most players. There were also nine different lines that were available for players to bet on. This did serve to increase the winning percentages but I thought that it could have been more. Mad Professor Slots also included what was named the "rapid fire jackpot." This jackpot closely resembled more traditional progressive jackpots except this jackpot was much smaller and awarded more often. The jackpot was awarded randomly at the end of a paid spin and the more you bet the better your chances were of winning it.

A picture of the mad professor himself served as the wild symbol for Mad Professor Slots. This symbol appeared on every reel and could be used to substitute for any symbol in the game other than the scatter symbol. I really wasn't too impressed with this machine because I thought that without some additional feature, such as a prize multiplier, it just wasn't really all that exciting or worth rooting for. I did like the fact that it was available on every reel though.

I thought this machine offered a very cool bonus game. The bonus game was activated whenever three or more scattered master icons appeared anywhere on the screen together. The scatter symbol was also used to award a prize whenever two or more appeared anywhere on the screen together. During the bonus game players had to choose which injection to give to the monster to bring him alive. You were given four choices and three picks. For every right pick you made a prize was awarded and if you got three right choices the monster came alive. This was a very cool bonus game even though it didn't leave to the biggest prizes. This lack of prizes was made up for with its easy ability to be activated.

Overall, I thought this was a pretty fun machine. I liked the new features that were added to the design and I thought that the bonus game was a lot of fun. If the designers want to make this a really great machine then I would suggest adding a system to keep track of the symbols and add more features to the wild symbol.
