Love Bugs Slots is quite possibly one of the sappiest slot machines I have ever played. Everything reeked of love notes and valentines day. Not exactly my style if you catch my drift. The first thing I noticed about this machine were the symbols. I liked the fact that they really embodied the intended theme but I felt like it was really hard to keep track of which symbols were worth a lot and which ones weren't. At least the special symbols were easy to identify immediately. The betting options that were included on this machine were decent. I really liked the fact that the designers decided to include nine different pay lines that players could bet on. This really increased the winning percentages and led to a game that was much more exciting and engaging. The minimum bet was a penny but I thought that the designers would have been wise to make the minimum bet a penny since it would have attracted more people with small bank rolls. The maximum bet available was a very serviceable 45 dollars. The sounds were really nothing special on this machine and I wish the designers would have tried to at least relate them to the overall love theme. The graphics weren't all that great but they did ensure a glitch free smooth running game.

The scatter symbol for Love Bugs Slots was a picture of a stuffed heart with the word love on it. This symbol appeared on every reel and was used to award a prize whenever two or more of them appeared anywhere on the screen together. I thought this was a pretty lame scatter symbol. The designers just failed to provide any reason to get excited about this symbol or to root for it. This made it a non factor and failed to make the game more fun.

Love Bug Slots Wild Symbol And Bonus Game

There were two different wild symbol offered on Love Bug Slots. The first wild symbol was known as the lady love bug and this symbol only appeared on reel one. The second wild symbol was known as the man love bug and this symbol only appeared on reel five. Both of these symbols could be used to substitute for any symbol in the game other than the scatter symbol. These symbols were also used to activate the bonus game. The bonus game was activated whenever the lady love bug appeared on reel and one and the man love bug appeared on reel five at the same time. When this happened players were taken to a different screen and the two love bugs floated under four bridges during which they collected coin prizes. If they caught a diamond ring then all the prizes won during this time were tripled. If they caught a necklace then fifteen free spins were awarded. I really thought that this was a pretty cool bonus game because it could lead to some cool prizes. My only problem was with the fact that it was a lot harder to obtain than I initially thought it would be. It took me about 200 spins to get it.

Overall, this is a solid slot but nothing amazing. I just didn't think the features offered were good enough to convince me to come back to this machine for repeat plays. The only reason I would recommend this machine is if its valentines day and you are jonesin for some love drenched slot machine action.
