This is a pretty simple five reel slots machine. The designers obviously weren't trying to wow anyone with new or innovative bonus features or special symbols. This isn't to say that this wasn't a good slot. It is a pretty good slots machine but it definitely wasn't great. The first thing I noticed about this machine were the symbols. I actually thought they were pretty well done on this machine. The designs weren't very elaborate or anything but I did like the fact that I never got any of the symbols confused with one another and it was pretty easy to identify the important symbols. They symbols included regular playing card symbols, nine through ace, and an assortment of jungle inspired symbols that included, among others, a lion, a panda bear, and a butterfly. The betting options available on this machine were just average for me. I liked the fact that you could be on up to nine different pay lines but I wasn't impressed with the minimum bet that was available. I really thought the machine would have been better served with a minimum bet of a penny rather than a dime. It may not seem like a big difference but aggregated over hundreds of spins the differences can add up.

Jungle King Slots Scatter Symbol

The scatter symbol for Jungle King Slots was a picture of a waterfall in the middle of a jungle. This symbol appeared on ever reel and was used to award a prize whenever tow or more of them appeared anywhere on the screen together. I thought this was a pretty lame scatter symbol. By doing the scatter symbol this way the designers basically made it the same as every other symbol. There was really no reason provided to get excited about this symbol or to root for it. This meant that it didn't provide the level of fun it probably should have.

Jungle King Slots Wild Symbol And Bonus Features

A picture of a tribal African using a didgeridoo served as the wild symbol for Jungle King Slots. This symbol only appeared on reels one and five and could be used to substitute for any symbol in the game other than the scatter symbol. The best part about this symbol is that whenever it was used as part of a winning combination the prize awarded was automatically doubled. This symbol was also used to activate the bonus game. The bonus game was activated whenever the wild symbol appeared on both reels one and five at the same time. When this happened players were taken to a separate screen and told to click on boxes. If the picture beneath the boxes revealed three of a kind of any symbol then the appropriate prize was awarded. I wasn't too crazy about the bonus game, because I felt it was to simple, but I really liked the way the created the wild symbol in a fashion that really got me rooting for it and excited.

Overall, I thought this was a decent slots machine but nothing special. I really liked the wild symbol used in this game but I really wish it would have led to a more exciting and engaging bonus game. I think that if the designers decide to spice up the scatter symbol and the bonus game that this slots machine could be something special.
