Eastern Dragon Slots is a pretty solid five reel slots machine. The whole game is pretty much centered around a single symbol, which we'll get to later. I thought this actually worked and led to a lot of excitement when that symbol landed often. The rest of the symbols were pretty well done though. They never gave me any problems as far as confusing the symbols together and the really important symbols were immediately identifiable. The symbols included regular playing card symbol, nine through ace, and an assortment of Asian inspired symbols that included, among others, a fire cracker, a Koi fish, and a flower. The visual graphics were kept very simple on this machine but I really didn't think that detracted very much from the overall gaming experienced. I thought that the betting options were pretty well done on the machine. The betting range was very adequate and players could spin the reels for as little as a penny or for as much as 100 dollars. I love machines that offer a penny as the minimum bet because these are the ones I'm use most of the time because I'm not usually looking to spend a lot of money, I just want to get my slots machine fix. I also really liked the fact that there were 20 different lines on which players could bet on for any given spin.

The scatter symbol on Eastern Dragon Slots was almost a side note because all the emphasis of the game was placed on the wild symbol. The symbol itself was a picture of a Chinese gong. It appeared on ever reel and was used to award a prize whenever two or more symbols appeared anywhere on the screen together. I thought this was just too simple of a symbol for my likings but I guess the designers were saving all the features for the wild symbol. Thusly I really didn't think the scatter symbol had too big of an impact on this machine.

Eastern Dragon Slots offers one of the best wild symbols I've ever seen used on a machine. The symbol was a picture of a traditional Chinese dragon and only appeared on reels one and five and could be used to substitute for any symbol in the game other than the scatter symbol. One of the great parts about this symbol is that whenever it was used as part of a winning combination the prize awarded was automatically doubled. The even better part about this symbol is that whenever one appeared on reels one and five at the same time ten free games were awarded. During the free games all prizes won were automatically tripled. I really enjoyed playing with this symbol because so much was riding on it and it led to almost all the big wins I obtained on this machine. Things really got exciting whenever this symbol appeared on the first reel.

Overall, I really liked this game. The designers put all their chips into one symbol but I thought this actually made the game pretty exciting. This was because you were always rooting for the symbol and got really excited whenever it appeared. I also thought they did a lot of the other little things, such as the symbols and the betting options, which also led for a smooth and engaging gaming experience.
