Mystic Fortune Slots is a solid, action packed five reel slots machine. The designers really went to town with the features on this slots machine and I thought it was a good thing that they did. I don't think that anyone is going to be blown away by the features on this machine as they are pretty traditional features but I thought the way in which they were set up really provided for a very exciting game. The first thing I noticed about this machine were the symbols, which tend to always be solid on Boss Media slots. I thought they were really cool looking. Some of theme were funny and some of them were kind of creepy but they all related to the theme very well and really helped to bring it alive. This really helped me get sucked into the gaming experience. Mystic Fortune Slots also offered a jackpot feature. This feature was activated whenever three or more jackpot symbols appeared on an active pay line form left to right. When this happened players were taken to a different screen where they had to choose one of three available objects to reveal either the jackpot, the super jackpot, or the grand jackpot. Though these prizes were a lot smaller than most progressive jackpots they were awarded much more easily which in my opinion made them more effective.

The wild symbol offered on Mystic Fortune Slots was a picture of a unicorn with the word "wild" below it. This symbol appeared on every reel and could be used to substitute for any symbol in the game other than the jackpot, scatter, and bonus symbols. I liked the fact that this symbol was really easy to identify as soon as it appeared on the screen but this is where the good things ended. I really didn't think this symbol appeared enough to be effective and without some other feature attached to it such as a prize multiplier I really didn't think it offered up to much in the form of excitement.

A picture of horseshoe that said the word "scatter" in front of it served as the scatter symbol on Mystic Fortune Slots. This symbol appeared on every reel and its only purpose was to activate a free spin bonus feature. If three scatter symbols appeared anywhere on the screen together at the same time then five free spins were automatically awarded, if four appeared then ten free spins were awarded, and if five appeared then 25 free spins were awarded. I wasn't too crazy about this feature. I thought that it really should have offered more free spins or at least have included some additional feature such as a prize multiplier. This really would have made the spins much more exciting and provided a much better opportunity to win some big prizes.

Instead of using a combination of symbols to activate the bonus game on Mystic Fortune Slots a point system was used instead. The bonus game was activated whenever a player accumulated 750 bonus points. Bonus points were awarded whenever a bonus symbol appeared on the screen and was directly correlated to the total bet being made. So if you bet 150 coins then you were awarded 150 points. When the bonus game was activated you were taken to a pyramid of cards where you had to start at the bottom and work you way up. As you ascended the card pyramid the prizes became larger but there were also more no prize cards included. I thought this was the best part of the slots machine. It was really effective in building the excitement as you point total grew larger and led to some really huge prizes sometimes.

Overall, I thought this was a very solid slots machine but nothing to write home about. For me there just wasn't any single feature that really stood out to me as to set this machine apart from all the other ones out there. I think that both the scatter symbols and the wild symbol need more added to them if they are really going to provide a lot of excitement. If they fix this they may be on to something.
