Lost City Slots is a very well done and smooth five reel slots machine. I really loved what the designers did with this machine. They offered up some very fresh and innovative features and really decided to not just go with the flow of what all the other five reel machines out there are doing. The first place this could be seen was with the betting options. The designers decided not to include pay lines on this machine which is a very rare occurrence for a five reel machine. Rather, symbols simply had to appear anywhere on adjacent reels. This was really cool and it prevented those really frustrating situations where you had a lot of the same symbol on the screen but didn't win anything because the pay lines didn't line up. The betting range was also more than adequate. Players could spin the reels for as little as a nickel or for as much as fifty dollars. This also meant that you really didn't have to worry about the winning percentages being dragged down because you could afford to play a bunch of different lines. The symbols on this machine were very strait forward and in my opinion really well done. I never got any of them confused with one another and I felt the important symbols really stood out from the rest.

Lost City Slots Scatter Symbol And Bonus Feature

The scatter symbol offered on Lost City Slots was a picture of a ship with the word ‘scatter" going through the middle of it. This symbol appeared on every reel and its only purpose was to activate a free spin bonus feature. If two of these symbols appeared anywhere on the screen together at the same time then ten free spins were automatically awarded and if three appeared then 25 free spins were awarded. I really liked this feature. It was very simple and strait forward and though I liked the ten free spins I liked the 25 free spins aspect of it even more because it was really easy to obtain a huge amount of free spins. This really provided players a time to really rack up the winnings.

The bonus game was the focal point of the whole playing experience on Lost City Slots. The game basically involved racking up points until you unlocked the bonus game. You received points every time the bonus symbol, which simply said "bonus", appeared on the screen. At certain points you had to choose a various symbol to use as you continued your quest for more points. Basically you had to choose between the symbol that had the highest possible reward but the lowest minimum or the safe bet that didn't have a high ceiling or a low minimum. When the bonus game was activated, at 4500 points, players were taken to a different screen where you had to find the spot in the ocean to look for gold. Every guess took an hour and once you found the right spot you used your remaining hours to choose prizes. The more hours you had left the more prizes you could choose. This was a really cool bonus game because you knew when it was going to come and it had a lot of different dimensions to it. My only gripe would be that the prizes weren't as large as the could have been.

Overall, I thought this was a very solid slots machine that provided a nice break from the usual features offered on most five reel slots. I love when the designers of these machines really put their inventive juices to work. My favorite part about this slots was the fact that there were no pay lines. This is the first five reel machine I have come across like this and I thought it worked incredibly well.
