Slots Ahoy Slots is an incredibly simple three reel slots machine. I thought that this was a little to simple for my likings but the designers did try to include a few things that were meant to get players excited and to bring some fun to the table. Overall, I didn't think they were all that successful in this attempt. The first thing I noticed about this thing was the fact that there way too few symbols included on this machine. This led to a game that got very repetitive and monotonous very quickly. This is a problem that a lot of three reel machines run into and it can be very frustrating. The betting options were also pretty lame. There was only one pay line available for players to bet on. This wasn't too big of a problem as far as the betting options were concerned but it really limited how much money players could spend. The betting range also was rather small as players could spin the reels at a minimum of a nickel or at a maximum of ten dollars. All in all I really think the designers failed to do a lot of the little things right that are necessary if a slots machine is to be successful.

Slots Ahoy Slots Wild Symbol

The wild symbol offered on this machine was the lone bright spot I could find but even this wasn't all that great. The symbol itself was a black flag with a skull and bones on it. It appeared on every reel and could be used to substitute for any symbol on the machine. This really did helped increase the overall winning percentages on this game especially since there were so few symbols being used. I really think the designers really could have spiced the entire game in general up if they had only included some other feature such as a prize multiplier. This really would have given players a reason to root for and to get excited about this game.

Overall, I was pretty disappointed with this slots machine. I thought it was pretty poorly designed and I really didn't get excited about playing this machine at any time. I understand that there's a place in this world for really simple slots machines but this was just overdoing it. You have to provide at least a few things that are going to provide a source of fun for players to stay interested.
