So I'm all for really simple slots machine but I think the designers at 888 took things a little too far on this machine. I really think they failed to bring any kind of excitement or fun to the table with Ole Glory Slots. The game just really wasn't that much fun basically because there wasn't anything included worth getting excited about. This was just a really mindless play and I got bored of playing with it after only a few minutes which is a pretty bad sign. My biggest gripe with this machine was that the variety of symbols was very limited. It got very boring seeing the same old symbols come up time and time again. Many three reel slot machines suffer from this but I thought that it was so bad on this machine that it almost became unplayable. The sound effects offered on this machine were also pretty lame. They sounded really generic and didn't relate to a theme in any way. I would suggest doing what I did and make use of the mute button immediately as to avoid the problem entirely.

The betting options offered on were just as simple as everything else offered on this machine and that was definitely not a good thing. There was only one pay line available for players to bet on. This wasn't really too bad of a thing as far as the winning percentages were concerned because there were so few symbols being used but I thought that it really limited players as far as how much money they could spend. The designers really only intended for this slots machine to be played by small money players. This was evident in the betting range they decided to use. There minimum bet allowed was a nickel and the maximum bet that could be made was only six dollars. The thing I didn't understand was that if the machine was designed only for small money players then why not just make the minimum bet a penny?

Overall, I just wasn't impressed with this machine. I'm all for simple slot machines as I know a lot of people really prefer to play these but if you game isn't offered any kind of excitement or fun then there's really no point in playing it. I really wouldn't suggest this slots machine to anyone as I think your money and time could be much better spent elsewhere or more exciting slot machines.
